    Crewe fans last night

Although on popular pages like clubs and the like, outright lies don't tend to last long. Keith O'Neill's page had a line about his legs being 40% paper which lasted a good while...

    Looks like he'd be stringy.

City not on TV 2nd leg JPT

Are they showing the second leg of the other game instead? It's more finely poised.

    Superbowl XLVII

I realise that in all this complaining about a personal bugbear I've derailed Superb Owl talk most so I'm the biggest dickhead of all. Balls. In conclusion, Seahawks to at least reach the championship game next year.

I'd have been almost confident going into the second leg a goal down as the pressure is off and we seem to perform better away from home. It just seemed like the players went for broke to suit the crowd and hype which was counter-productive in what's basically the first half of the overall game.

You don't understand fence-sitting if you think that's what's going on. We shouldn't expect to beat teams like Crewe because we're in League One for a reason, a league in which we have lost quite a few games and counting. Scream blindly at the Crewe fans if you must, but the tubthumping is...

Why? They've beat us twice now. And those people would be mocked for their arrogance.

    Superbowl XLVII

It should be taken exception to, Darth Ranson rightly pulled up the needlessness of it. Imagine if everyone went into threads about things they have no opinion of to tell people they don't care. It's a particular annoyance, to see someone wade in to something screaming 'WHO CARES?' while others...

You don't have to be nice to people, but Robins is in charge and we've just lost to Crewe so there's little to say we ought to be pissing on anyone.

I'd go for kicker. Seems to have the least chance of spinal injury and sheer terror that almost all other positions would give me.

    Superbowl XLVII

If it was closer to 'never got it before, what's the appeal?' then it'd be a different story. Instead it's 'this is shit, and I can say what I want!!!' attention-seeking nonsense.

    Superbowl XLVII

You're entitled to do whatever you want, but surely you know when it's apt and when it's disruptive for no reason. If there's a thread about dance music I'd rather leave the people who like it to it rather than wade in going 'not real music is it? pass'.

The 'Iwillbethere' stuff was an attempt to get as many people excited and supporting the team as possible. Really nothing more.

    Rare Phenomena...

Did yesterday beat the Chelsea game for attendance? I remember there were a few seats left empty then as a barrier of sorts too. The women's olympic game was nearly full, with the added bonus of a North Korean flag hanging overhead.

Do away goals play a part in this competition? NOTE - I am not bullishly predicting a 4-1 away win nor have I checked Coventry-London trains on the date of the final.
