So if this is a forced takeover...

Broadstreet would be cheaper wouldn't it? For a start would Broadstreet charge them £400K for the land. Also there is already existing rugby facilities at broadstreet and Wasps have spent money to have the facilities improved and pitches laid. The planning at the moment is only 2 years as it is...

    So I bought the shirt.....

Are the names and numbers on the back blue? If so it really negates the complaints about the back being white.

So if this is a forced takeover...

Don't see any reason not to permanently base at Broadstreet.

So if this is a forced takeover...

Why can they not stay at broadstreet permanently? That seems to make perfect sense to me. They will have a lot of what they need already in place, the extra facilities would be of benefit to others and it could increase rather than decrease the community offering.

So if this is a forced takeover...

Wasps and CCFC have clearly been in communication with each other. I would expect Wasps to just say to CCFC, 'we're considering the Higgs as a training centre, would that cause you problems?'.

Higgs have legal clauses inserted to block CCFC and back Wasps only

Higgs are saying what can and can't be done, does that not mean they are still involved?

So if this is a forced takeover...

You've made a big leap from what Anderson actually said. He just said that the club were prepared to move from Ryton to Higgs to show commitment to the city.

Higgs have legal clauses inserted to block CCFC and back Wasps only

This is speculative as I haven't read their rules and regs but an argument could certainly be made that the sale process did not maximise the return to the charity. In terms of what is currently happening at Higgs by their own admission the community offering at Higgs will be reduced if and...

Higgs have legal clauses inserted to block CCFC and back Wasps only

If the charity are no longer owners or operators of the Higgs Centre then why is it understandable they put clauses in case purely to be vindictive to the football club? What difference would it now make to them if CCFC stay or go? And lets not kid ourselves that Higgs are shy of taking legal...

Stokes received 1 match ban and fine

A ban seems a bit over the top.

So if this is a forced takeover...

How would that have worked? If we were liquidated we'd be lucky to start in the same division as Sphinx!

Higgs have legal clauses inserted to block CCFC and back Wasps only

I'm not saying they've got a valid case or any chance of victory. What I'm saying is anyone can take legal action on anything they want. CCC suddenly seem very keen for the legal action to stop. If SISU are no longer connected to the club in any way what would be stopping them continuing legal...

    season ticket sales

Before anyone gets party invites I still haven't had a letter and car sticker!

Higgs have legal clauses inserted to block CCFC and back Wasps only

So if SISU are prepared to continue the existing court action why would anyone think they would hesitate to undertake further legal action irrespective of if they were still the clubs owners or not.

Higgs have legal clauses inserted to block CCFC and back Wasps only

Are you really doubting that SISU would not take further legal action? The general consensus is the council have done no wrong yet there's already one court case in progress and another on the way.

Higgs have legal clauses inserted to block CCFC and back Wasps only

I don't think it would work. There's too much apathy. You wouldn't have a situation like AFC Wimbledon with everyone working together and getting behind the club. Some would go to Wasps, some to Cov United and some to Sphinx. The others would either find something apart from football to occupy...

    Could those attending Wasps games...

The good news is that when CCFC go out of business as its apparently impossible for anyone to build a new stadium in London we can look forward to the likes of Spurs, Chelsea etc to move up here to replace them.

    Future of this Football club.

The point at which the Ricoh was sold to Wasps was the point at which I thought the future was incredibly bleak. As bad as things have been under SISU until that point any damage done was reversible. Once the stadium was gone it became a much bigger task. Never imagined that, despite what...

But force SISU out and you certain there wouldn't be another court case started up because I'm not.

    Baker come and get me

I'd have him back as a squad player. Not sure if 2 years down the line and at his age he is up to a first choice spot. He seems like he'd be a good pro to have around a young squad, maybe ease him in to a coaching role. I'll defer to TM's judgement on this as I wouldn't be too fussed if he...
