Think the £21m was for the fit out once the build was complete. So they had the actual stadium but not in a useable condition. No idea why that wasn't in the budget in the first place, seems a big oversight.

If you could use the existing building it could probably be done relatively quickly and cheaply. If you've got to knock the building down and start again its a much bigger project.

Might be worth a look then. Unless he's improved a fair bit I wouldn't have him first choice but I wouldn't be against TM bringing him in to pre-season training to take a look.

No idea what standard that is. He wasn't terrible but not what we need now I don't think, not if we're mounting a serious promotion push. Guess he could be a backup if the wages are low.

You could probably build an indoor pitch if you used the spare land and knocked down what used to be the indoor cricket centre (what is that actually used for now?). But you'd only have two outdoor pitches. How close would that get us to Cat 2 requirements? Would certainly be nice to have...

I'm struggling to imagine any uproar if a few thousand CRFC fans turned up to one of our games. If you look back to posts from when Wasps first arrived you will find many people expressing concern for CRFC and suggesting people, even those who don't like rugby, think about attending a game.
