Ricoh events and Wasps ticket outlet

You do know there's more than one forum on the internet don't you? Strange how you highlight that one, I had a look on there when the move was first announced and there's was posts complaining that anyone who didn't agree with the move was getting banned so I wouldn't look to that for a...

    Top 6 Budget?

I'd be interested to know what caused such a large miscalculation.

    The official NFL Thread

Not watched for years. Don't have Sky so probably won't be watching this year either! Was reading about the chap who got suspended and fined for deflating the ball. Said that he had renegotiated his contract since being fined so that the period where he is being fined his wages his salary goes...

Out of Ricketts and Murphy it has to be Ricketts

    Ticketmaster

Reselling football tickets is illegal but there is a loophole that allows you to do it with the clubs permission so all the big clubs have signed deals with resellers. Should be stopped for everything not just football.

    Ticketmaster

I seem to recall people suggesting that we should look at what Wasps do. They use Ticketmaster and have a £3.50 booking fee.

If you work on a 9K average attendance and 4K season ticket holders that equates to a cost of nearly £.5m a season. How do you suggest that is funded if the cost isn't passed on to fans?

You have to laugh. Nothing has been announced about booking fees or ticket prices yet the complainers are already out in force on twitter.

    ST renewal marketing.

I can't imagine that we've got thousands of season ticket holders who go thinking its going to be a hugely entertaining and successful way to spend Saturdays! On that basis would expect the vast majority to renew.

Season ticket next season? Yes or No?

If people are aware of this going on they need to let the club know. Give them the turnstile number and they'll be able to work out who it is. We are heavily reliant on ticket revenues so if this is happening on a regular basis and in large enough numbers it will be having an impact.

Pretty much, its a different interface with more options but essentially its the same sale process.

    Ticketmaster

I've never done season tickets but they do other football clubs (Spurs and West Ham for starters) and they also do a lot of American sports where they offer all sorts of match packages and part season tickets so the facility exists. They can pull over existing account into if they want. Your...

The infrastructure is definitely there as they use it in the states and its all the same back end. Can't think of anywhere I've seen it used here but there's no reason I can think of that it couldn't be. Phone will just go through to their call centre, their call centre system will show the...

    Ticketmaster

Couple of ways it works. Both are essentially the same thing though. There's a cloud based backend system that allows you to add events, set prices etc. The front end can be the regular ticketmaster site and / or a customised front end. I suspect we'll have a customised page with our own...

    Ticketmaster

If the ticketing works people will have to find something else to complain about! Ticketmaster is by far the best platform. Will mean if we have any 'big' games there won't be the issues we getting tickets we've seen in the past. The only issue will be booking fees. Are they being added on top...

    Top 6 Budget?

What point are people actually trying to prove now? The argument seems to be if the budget is 6th, 7th or 8th. Does it really matter. Not like we're going to finish 8th and the argument that a small investment could have resulted in the play offs could be used.
