Why do any of them want to leave? Players or managers? More money usually.
That is the puzzle. He seemed really happy and said he was going nowhere.
He only left Barnsley after falling out with the board, so it is rational to think he may have fallen out with the board here too. If so...
Fuck me. I read some rubbish on here - admittedly usually before I press SUBMIT - but this is absolute bollocks. How anyone can pin this on SISU is beyond me.
Nope can't stand him either.
I'd like to know where it was stated Ince was the preferred choice. You trot this out every time someone credits SISU for appointing the best manager we've had for years.
As I said earlier, rather than admitting they made a good choice you'd rather waste...
Damn right. It's not about "at the moment" which I mentioned on another thread earlier but about career progression. Who is going to be better for his career. Only Robins can figure that one out, no one else. Not us, not SISU.
True. However, Robins can turn them down.
Great that the club have turned down the approach; a statement of intent which should - but won't - shut up the Anti-SISU moaners. If Mark Robins goes then it will be because Mark Robins wants to go.
Then he can say, thanks but no thanks. You blaming SISU for the release clause is ridiculous. Release clauses are put in by players and managers.
Robins is doing a great job - which is why he's being linked - SISU know Robins is the best chance for us to get out of this league.
Stop...
The Ginormous, massive, colossal point you seem to be missing is that if Robins goes it'll be because Robins wants to. Nothing to do with release clauses, which chances are Robins put in there himself; so he would have an opportunity to jump ship.
