    Statement from Cov Rugby

I doubt Sharp is an idiot so if one of the options under consideration is CCFC playing there he will be aware of the pitch requirements. SISU don't need to leave for them not to be involved at least technically. The precise way he's phrased it, several times now, makes me think it is deliberate.

    Statement from Cov Rugby

Exactly, set up a joint venture prop co owned by Otium and CRFC. He's not dealing with SISU then.

    Statement from Cov Rugby

Think you can read it either way you want. If it was a non-starter it would be a short statement saying Fisher is full of BS and there's no chance of it happening. What he actually says is that a groundshare with CCFC is one of the options under consideration but there are, quite rightly...

    Mediation talks underway

You would have thought so. What use is we won't go to mediation unless you agree to our terms before we start!

    Mediation talks underway

Yep, back in September. Said if SISU paid the council £325 it could help.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

How was CCC refusing to even consider CCFC owning a stake in the stadium prior to SISU coming in a consequence of stunts pulled by SISU?

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

The original condition had to be removed as it forbid all football, not that the condition was ever enforced. If the condition was still in place Cov Utd couldn't play there. It was when the condition was being altered that CCC wanted to add a clause to prevent professional football. When that...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Come on, you have to be blind not to see the council fall over themselves to assist Wasps and do the very minimum they can legally get away with when it comes to us.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

That's not a planning issue. That's a restriction the council tried, and failed, to have added to the BPA lease when ownership was transferred recently to Jon Sharp / CRFC.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

They've had to take out an overdraft and had a loan put in by the owner which doesn't sound like they're sat on a huge pile of money.

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

No they purchased both the council and Higgs share for £2.77m each. They then extended the lease for £1m. So a total of £6.54m. But we're not talking about how much they paid we're talking about the debt. At the point Wasps took over ACL the debt was £14.4m of which they council paid back...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Really? How much was owed to the council at the point Wasps took over compared to how much Wasps owe on the bond issue?

Portsmouth used to train in the local park, they've now moved to the local Roko. Who cares where it is as long as its the right standard. If this does happen surely its a win all round. At minimum an improvement in the current facilities there, at best in the long term you could see additional...

    Academy ground share

If the academy is moving in the pitches will be looked after by CCFC and the required improvements made. They're not just going to turn up one morning and hope for the best. Potentially there's room at Finham to move the whole thing there down the line if future owners want to put a bit of...
