Local Government Ombudsman - Protest Idea

That's one of the saddest things in this whole mess.

Local Government Ombudsman - Protest Idea

If you go further back there were also conditions when Higgs was first built as municipal land was used. Something about the facilities having to remain available to the community. Wasps plans will mean a reduction in both the facilities available and the hours they are available for. There...

Have I missed an academy update?

At least then everyone would know exactly what was needed in addition to Higgs. CSF & Wasps have told the trust, why is so difficult for them to tell CA?

    Why can't we

Win win as far as I can see. There was also talk of Wasps buying the ST land next to Higgs, that all went very quiet.

    RIP Labour

People are struggling. This government have overseen a huge transfer of wealth. Those at the top are getting richer faster while everyone else is left to fight over scraps. Wages are stagnant, food bank usage is at record levels, the slowest economic recovery since records began. Its not...

Have I missed an academy update?

You could have stopped there. It is the easiest thing, especially as they have already told the trust. That's the way forward for me. Get CSF to put it in writing and call Anderson's bluff.

    Why can't we

Where would they build? Even if the club bought back the Connexion they'd only get one more pitch in. They can't build out from the existing site so it would need another site in Ryton. Is there anything big enough that's not already taken or green belt? We should explore all options of course...

    Why can't we

The problem is that the requirements for an academy, even if you accept there is a degree of flexibility, mean we have a lot less room to manoeuvre than Wasps who can do pretty much what they like. What I don't understand with Broad Street is why they don't just make that their permanent home...

    RIP Labour

Absolutely this. I don't think Corbyn will be PM as it would need a virtually unprecedented swing, which given the way the media treats him is virtually impossible. What is possible is a change in politics. Corbyn takes Labour back to the left, we now have May and a cabinet which is further to...

Have I missed an academy update?

It wouldn't be spin unless it was vague. Say we can offer x, y & z to the club moving forward from when the current deal ends. Make it very simple and very clear.

Have I missed an academy update?

On the bright side as CSF managed to supply all the details requested by Anderson to the Trust there is no reason they can't be put in a letter and sent to him. Make it an open letter in the Telegraph. Its time to call his bluff.

    Wolves bought for 45 million

you get money from the PL apart from parachute payment, we get something like £400K every year. £12m does seem high without any parachute payments though.

    Wolves bought for 45 million

If you strip out gate receipts our income is £3.5m compared to their £20.7m, a pretty big difference by anyone's standards.

    Matchday Car Parking Prices

How much, if anything, do we get out of this? If the club gets a decent cut I might use the official car parks, if not I'll just use one of the places behind Tesco.
