    Euro 2016 big thread

What was the keeper doing there? Sterling was being pushed out wide, was never going to score.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The thing I have heard repeatedly is the financial services won't go as the staff won't move. Don't buy that. The staff will go, these aren't minimum wage workers - they earn a fortune. If their employer says move they will move.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

In the TTIP one? That needed some major revision but seemed to be flying under the radar. My fear is we will get something similar if not worse if it is down to the conservatives to negotiate it. They wouldn't be concerned for a second to sign away the UKs right to public ownership of things...

    Matchday ticket prices ?!

Who knows. To be honest they could justifiably ditch it as we didn't get the same treatment from other teams.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

What we're going to end up with is freedom of movement, having to accept the majority of EU regulations (as we will have to comply to trade), and still paying in but we will have no say in anything. While we will pay less in we won't be getting anything out so the net difference might be...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

No but by the end of day one we were being told the markets were starting to turn around and recover. Doesn't seem that way now. I'm not expecting everything to be fantastic, what I am expecting is a plan and some action being taken. At the moment the leave campaign look like they've been...

    Forthcoming General Election

Difference is its not a small group this time. The majority of party members voted for Corbyn. Since that vote his poll rating among Labour members has gone up (won with 59%, polls have him now at 66%). In fact since the referendum his poll rating overall has risen to the highest its even been...

    Forthcoming General Election

If I was a member of the Labour Party I'd be furious. Has a party ever been so out of step with its members? Corbyn won by a landslide in the leadership election. Latest polls show that if he stands in the next leadership election he will win by an even bigger landslide. So what are they going...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

See Boris has finally surfaced but rather than addressing the voters he chose to make his statement via his paid for column in the Telegraph. Was barely off the presses before the rest of Europe, and in particular Germany, were making it clear he had no chance of getting what he laid out. The...

    Matchday ticket prices ?!

I think what they mean is you can't hand cash over on the gate. Apparently it doesn't always find its way to the club. From what I understand there will be a much bigger on the day ticketing operation with ticketmaster staffing it and managing it.

    2016/17 squad

When it a World Cup or Euro's are we usually back and playing friendlies while the tournament is on? Know they always start training at around the same time but the games seem earlier.

    Bosman

Basically Bosman won't but similar FIFA and UK rules will so there is unlikely to be any noticeable difference. The bigger issue will be around immigration rules and the impact they have on work permit requirements for European footballers.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Indeed and a big deal was made of that at the time. Now they are talking about something different. I suspect the angle that will be played by the EU is that Scotland is already in the EU and have voted to stay therefore if they wish to do so they are already a member and can stay on the same...

    Forthcoming General Election

Problem last time was the only option was AV and neither side really engaged in any decent campaigning. Whole thing passed by unnoticed by most.
