Quick bit of googling. As the ground is right next to a train line thought I'd compare. Trains seem to be in the region of 83 - 97 decibels. Emirates Stadium is in the top 10 loudest in the country and is 77 decibels. Found another report that states a 40K crowd at 60 - 65 decibels.

Exactly, he could be right to say 40% is the player budget without it meaning the club is not being run as self sustaining and someone is taking money out.

That's what I mean a simple bit of fact checking and he would know what he was asserting in the article was wrong. But now its been published in the CT it will be taken as fact. I don't hate the CT for a start, just wish they would support our club. And its not like we have numerous options as far as local media goes.

Interesting point really. If Scunthorpe or Rochdale went and built a 30K plus stadium would we applaud them for being aspirational or think they were being a bit stupid?

Exactly that. He's just done it again, Palace player shrugged off the foul and was through and he pulled it back for a free kick. Having a bit of a nightmare. Pardew isn't happy, don't blame him.
