Not a fan of this red kit, too much blue trim.

    Why Can't CCFC

The priority would be having a season of success, would make a nice change. Hard to predict what would happen long term if we were bouncing around divisions. Would be nice to think we could get into the Championship and stabilise there but while you're allowed to lose millions a year can't see...

Why on earth was he trying to head that?

    Vive la Republique!

Their basic rate is lower (14% compared to our 20%) but they have a middle rate we don't have. €26,792 - €71,826 is 30%. Although that means their higher rate doesn't kick in as low so it probably all evens out.

    Revenues blah blah blah !

You would have to go up and then have a squad similar to our relegation season so we weren't losing money. So you'd pretty much be setting yourself up for failure in the Championship. But at least we'd enjoy a season of success!

    Revenues blah blah blah !

Why does it require extra investment? Lets say the Ricoh naming rights are worth £500K without us or £1m with us. Why shouldn't we get a least a decent percentage of the extra £500K we generate?

    Why Can't CCFC

We'll never find out but I wonder if they would have tried making them even cheaper if they'd maintained the level of revenue with the reductions last season.

    Vive la Republique!

Depends how you look at it. If you look at just the numbers then no. There's are $48K and ours $54K (they get reported in dollars as its supposed to be more reliable). But our consumer prices are 4.4% higher and rent / mortgage 34.8% higher. If you think they have it good some countries are now...

    England Euros Training Squad

1-0 to England. Although Australia are getting a lot more of the ball and a lot further forward than I'd be happy with if I was the manager.

    Revenues blah blah blah !

I think the danger with that is you become used to it and gradually crowds drop. Every relegation sees more walk away but each promotion sees a smaller and smaller increase and people think we'll just go straight back down again. How many times does that has to happen before we're not getting...

    Vive la Republique!

We're way too passive in this country. A lot of people are quite happily about to vote to leave the organisation that protects our working rights despite the fact we have the minimum level of rights allowed and have tried arguing for them to be relaxed. Don't have to be a genius to see what will...

Broken the record for youngest player to score on debut. Scored after 135 seconds. Not as quick as Kane though, he scored after 79 seconds on debut.

    Mowbrey and Venus

How would it? If you had a tiered system down the leagues it would mean a) more, if not all teams, running at as self sustaining and b) at the start of every season all clubs have a competitive chance.

Good stuff, lets hope we keep ahead of last years numbers.

IMO there needs to be huge changes in football. I just can't see how the current setup can be sustained. Until there is a setup that removes parachute payments and forces all clubs to be self sustaining football will remain in a mess with numerous clubs struggling to pay the bills. Personally...

    Revenues blah blah blah !

According to bis.gov figures 20% of new businesses go under during the first 12 months. Then that rises to 50% within the first 3 years. And of course that's just the ones that cease to exist, there will be others making a loss or just about breaking even. Doesn't seem a great route to extra...

    SISU/ARVO appeal turned down

I would say there is pretty much zero chance that money would have come in to CCFC if there had been no legal action.

    Mowbrey and Venus

Indeed it doesn't. At least not in the short term. But what about longer term? Wasps could whack the rent up and more seasons in L1 or promotions and relegations between L1 and Championship could lead to a slowly declining average attendance. With our reliance on ticketing revenues how long...

    SISU/ARVO appeal turned down

There's doesn't need to be any actual evidence, it seems to be taken by a lot of people as fact now.
