Replace Eastwood with Fisher in this and I wonder if we'd be seeing the same response?

    Rent

Nick Eastwood was Wasps chief exec, was replaced by David Armstrong. Armstong is now being replaced by Eastwood. There was an interview with Eastwood in the CT yesterday where he said "“We haven’t heard anything from the football club ... If and when they wish to talk to us, of course we are...

Surely not. The same Nick Eastwood that was telling Wasps fans the club were planning to return to London while negotiating to buy the Ricoh? The same Nick Eastwood that told CCFC fans he knew nothing about us being kicked out of our dressing room and losing the use of the indoor warm up area...

MP that offered mediation has confirmed in the CT that he contacted Wasps despite Eastwood saying there hasn't been any contact.

Live in sticks... broadband options/help please!

That's your problem, everything apart from Virgin or satellite will come down the same BT infrastructure. Might be worth asking the locals to see if there's any recommended solution or subsidy.

But that's not all we generate. What about naming rights, what about advertising (do you think we get paid for all those Wasps adverts around the pitch?). what about the advertising sites in the concourse (again do you think we get paid for all the Wasps adverts down there?).

Live in sticks... broadband options/help please!

Long shot but if there is Virgin that would be your best bet. If not your only option is probably satellite broadband which could be expensive.

    Alex Lacey

Never heard of him! Think that will be a recurring theme of our targets this summer. Decent write up though, if thats accurate he'd be a decent signing. Seems like we've started out looking at more realistic targets than last year.

Read the quotes and I'm not sure I share the confidence of some on here. Why would they have heard anything from the club? It was left with them refusing to speak to the club so unless they had informed the club of a change in their stance they aren't likely to be contacted. Willing to talk...

    Vote CIaran Norris

That's all well and good, and you'd struggle to find anyone who would disagree, but how is he actually proposing to do it?

In simplistic terms we need what we generate to even come close to putting us on a viable standing. Once we've got that sorted we can look to generate non-matchday revenues. Also important to ensure there are break clauses as we don't want SISU here forever and don't want potential new owners...

    Nosebleed territory?

Do people really think we're going straight back up? Have you not being paying attention to how the club has been run for the last 10 years?

    32000 crowd

If anything yesterday shows you how far behind rugby is. Apparently yesterday was a top of the table clash to decide the league winners. Was there any sign of that in the city in the week leading up to the game? Compare it to a third tier football club getting to a tinpot cup final.

£1.25 m bid for Port Vale

So they are bidding less for the club and the stadium than two other groups have bid just for the club. Can't see that being a winning bid! Next it will be that they are expecting the loans to be written off as part of that £1.25m as well! Maybe if they team up with Hoffman they'd be able to...

£1.25 m bid for Port Vale

Of course they can, so how much are they proposing to pay Smurfwaite for the Port Vale FC Ltd and how much are they offering for Alchemy Land Ltd? Surely the ground on its own is worth more than £1.25m.

£1.25 m bid for Port Vale

Because they are two different companies. The report is a bid has been made for the football club not any holding company that consists of the club and ground.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Thats part of the problem. Uncertainly isn't good for the economy and we've got years of it ahead of us.
