    Hypothetical i know -

Not sure I'd have the expertise for running the club. And even if I did its going to take someone to put, and basically write off, a hell of a lot of money to get things sorted. There's a new ground and academy to pay for to start off with. Maybe I could take the job and get Michael McIndoe in...

    Butts Groundshare Update

Happens in business all the time. Samsung still provide parts for iPhone for example yet they have multiple huge lawsuits going against each other.

    Season tickets?

Or more likely the post. Seems unlikely that they've decided to not bother sending out some season tickets.

Match Thread Coventry v Portsmouth Match Thread - Tuesday 9th Aug

You could buy them on the night on Tuesday! The problem will always be, no matter what system you use, if a large number of people turn up relatively late in the day without tickets there will be queues.

    Butts Groundshare Update

Thing is those groups are all very much linked. And now you have Millerchip, linked to CSF and Wasps, causing problems. Yet those not connected, even when based in Coventry, manage to deal with the club with no problems. Was there any issue with their shop at Gallacher, the offices on Lockhurst...

    Butts Groundshare Update

Priorities! Just goes to show what gets the most clicks and therefore the most ad revenue. Odd, the chap who has links to CSF and Wasps getting involved to block the football club. The current owner of CRFC certainly seemed keen so why are more questions not being asked about why its...

I heard it might be a bit chilly, best stay at home and listen on CWR and then phone up to complain.

    Own Goal ?

Is that confirmed? If that's right they're shooting themselves in the foot. How are they going to encourage people to buy in advance if its cheaper on the gate?

    Own Goal ?

We used to have that system. Still got my card. There were two problems. People never remembered what ticket they'd booked and as they didn't have anything that was physically printed showing what seat they are booked it became a free for all. Not so much of an issue when there's loads of empty...

It has to be that. Nobody has said the individual transactions were slow so it has to be volume of people. But why do we have a bigger proportion of supporters turning up on the day without tickets? I had a look at other clubs today and teams with much bigger stadiums have a similar number of on...

But you can't. You buy them from the ticket office, exactly the same setup as we had last night.

What's the point you're trying to make then? That everyone uses the same system that was in place at the Ricoh last night?

So you're saying if you turn up at, for example, the Barclaycard Arena for a non sold out show you can hand £50 cash to the steward checking tickets and that you don't have to go to the box office and buy a ticket?

    Season tickets?

What a relief to know that those who have received their season tickets still have something to be outraged about.
