    Permission to talk to SP

Yeah, ones we've had before like Black, which is a backwards step. Pressley has never been here and should be given a chance. Anyway, he might not even be the one yet. However, I'd rather have him than Black.

    Permission to talk to SP

I shouldn't be surprised but it does make me wonder what sort of fans we have when they attack a man who not only hasn't taken the job yet but who has only just been approached. Give him a chance! It's what he does for us that's important, not what he has/hasn't done in the past.

Falkirk Board the other day- they wanted Pressley sacked.. and planned a protest.....

I seem to remember people on here posting similar quotes about Robins. We don't know if it is him, but if it is at least give him a chance, FFS.

    Pressley

Well, you never know. I was underwhelmed with the appointment of Robins and look how that turned out.

    Pressley

More than happy to give me a chance.

    Wheres Wally? (Sorry, Hoffman)

But it might not be admin. It might be full-blown insolvency.

Could very well have been true. I remember years ago that we chose Peter Billing over David Platt or something equally ridiculous.

    Wheres Wally? (Sorry, Hoffman)

What are you on about? Again. I would love Hoff to come and take us over. However, my point is that HE hasn't got the cash, it'll just be yet another set of unknown investors, so why would things be any different. Let see what happens, shall we? As for egg on faces, that shows you're...

    ACL £1m profit?

Using the same analogy; you, CJ and others want to jump off the cliff and HOPE that the rucksack on your back is actually a parachute.

    Wheres Wally? (Sorry, Hoffman)

So really we were (or are) going to swap one lot of faceless investors for another. The only difference would be that Hoffman is a fan. And really he won't be holding the purse strings anyway, so will be as powerless as Fisher is.

    The Manager saga

I think the new manager will be 100% welcomed. Unless it's Phil Brown.

I agree paper talk at best probably.

    ACL £1m profit?

As I keep saying, I don't want to risk it. And we don't have to.

Thank God for that. Hasn't managed a club for seven years or something.

    Tim Fisher

It's a well-known phrase, first used by Mark Twain. Funny really as your post below sums up your misunderstanding of the phrase and its origins beautifully.

    Old news. :p

    ACL £1m profit?

Similarly, there's the scare story that if SISU get half of the Ricoh then they will develop the land and ditch the Club. That's peddled quite often on here.

    ACL £1m profit?

It's not worth the risk, I don't think. Hoping isn't good enough.

I think you'd be number one, top of the pops.
