Isn't that what ECRIS is for? How on earth have you got from what I posted to me me being OK with people being murdered as long as I don't know them?

What do you mean? There's only 2 scenarios isn't there? 1) a convicted murderer wants to enter the UK, there is a means to stop that or 2) a non-UK EU citizen commits a murder here, that would have to be dealt with under the law of the country in which the offence took place.

It has to work like that, and it works like that for non-EU countries as well. You can't put someone on trial in, for example, the US for a crime committed in the UK just because they're american. Which countries law would you apply?

Why not? Wouldn't the country in question just issue a European arrest warrant? Its not true to say we can't stop convicted criminals entering the country either. The citizenship directive maintains that free movement can be restricted for public policy, public security or public health reasons.

Haven't read it cover to cover but a quick flick through he requirements would suggest that if Wasps get the go ahead for their plans it won't be possible to maintain a Cat 2 academy at Higgs. Not unless there is a chunk of unused land owned by Higgs that can be developed but if that was the...

It's not really that extreme a suggestion. If they had 17 possible sites for their facility is it really necessary to move to Higgs and force our academy out?

Big enough for the training facility Wasps are planning isn't it?

Speaking of which, have Jag said anything about how leave could impact the plans in the city? I've seen car manufacturing been mentioned a few times as one of the most at risk industries from a leave vote. Import tariffs to the rest of the EU will make it attractive for manufacturers to move...

But that's an unknown, and that's the problem with a lot of the leave campaign. They are going around assuring people we can cherry pick the things we still want, other countries aren't going to stand for that.

Basically they 100% want the academy to stay at Higgs. Would be prepared to move first team to Higgs as well to demonstrate commitment to Coventry. Want Wasps to pause planning application and talks with Wasps and CSF to see how academy future can be secured.

He did indeed. Interesting idea. Wouldn't there be enough room at Ryton for what Wasps are proposing?

100% agree with that. When they came in we were assured they wouldn't have a negative impact on the football club and that they would build a new state of the art facility.

We could but its not guaranteed. Any deal would require agreement of every member state. Will the likes of France and Germany let us leave the EU and stop paying in but then still get all the benefit? Canada have always have good relations with the EU, they started negotiating a trade deal with...

That's certainly not something that should be happening. Wonder if all those Brits who have retired to France, Spain and Italy get similar treatment.

You have to stop building for profit and instead build to meet the demand. Look at the numbers around replacement social housing for the properties sold off under right to buy. Look at how many right to buy properties are now in the hands of private landlords, in many places being rented back to...

As with most things these days there's been little proper debate and people are seeing as a binary issue. If we stay in there are still issues with the EU that need to be address, equally if we come out it won't solve all of our problems.

The payout is confidential so I reckon they've paid her a decent amount to keep it out of court.
