Do you want to discuss boring politics?

One other major issue aside from changes of government is the behaviours from the treasury downwards in relation to in year spending. E.g. at the moment departments, the NHS, local authority departments will suddenly start trying to buy things to ensure they spend the budget to make sure they...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Lots of public procurement waste is ultimately implementation of short sighted political decisions. In the NHS, for example, the worst contracts agreed by the NHS ever were the Tory then Labour PFI deals. These were cooked up by ministers in cahoots with the private sector. That Labour report...

This is one of the closest games to them really, straight forward journey and easily done by public transport as well.

Once the player has clearly got the run on Rudoni JDS has to engage him. The three players you mention are central defenders and a central midfielder FYI

    Preston Player Ratings

I think we were expecting them to try and cross from deep there, they had two strikers on at that point, had five players in the box. Can understand why Haji was back.

It was obviously the pitch in this case to be fair to him, though I think he delayed the pass a bit too long anyway

The pitch really didn't help with crossing, every lay off seemed to bobble up. The pitch is probably quite heavy underfoot as well which doesn't help aside from the bobbles. It's hard to believe their pitch is in such a bad state not even half way through the season, it was as bad as any pitch...

Watching the replay from last night, Eccles had his shin pad on the left leg down when he went off. It was probably from that dreadful tackle that not only went unpunished, that the referee failed to give us advantage from as we had got into space in midfield.

For his benefit (and maybe ours longer term if he's got anything) just leave him where he is. His objective is to go there and get game time so why interrupt that?

It wasn't the pitch to try passing the ball about on, just real naivety from us

The drop of intensity which led to the AAATB that led to the throw in is equally infuriating, we literally brought the whole thing upon ourselves.

I don't think Middlesbrough are all that though, so it's by no means a foregone conclusion that they win them all. They won narrowly at a freefalling Charlton 0.72xG. Even in xG terms their win at Hull was flattering, 1.29xG. The biggest threats to us remain the teams we thought would be at...
