Short answer is yes. Doug could be converting half the debt into equity which means it is repaid (at no cost to the club). Plausible although this wasn’t done last season (also it’s his money owed so would be generous to wipe half of it off).

On all this talk, assume the key roles in defence for us to improve is GK, RB (need a backup at least, and LB. Think the main CB pairing of Thomas and Kitching is good. Back ups concern me so wouldn’t mind one going for an experienced CB (probably Lati as most likely to be sold).

Good article in the Telegraph on what it could be. Mostly stuff on here but also mentioned it could be Doug converting some of the director loans into shares in order for them to not have to be repaid
