    League of Gentlemen return

Apparently he's going to be covering brexit, could be decent.

    League of Gentlemen return

They're brining it back with everyone involved which is a good sign and the work they've all done since LoG has been good so I'm not too concerned. Interesting that its 3 episodes. If it was a one off for the anniversary you'd expect a 'greatest hits' kind of show but that won't sustain 3 episodes.

    Coventry city centre

Looks like a rapid expansion over the past two years which makes sense for something that is in fashion at the moment. Will it be sustainable when the hipsters move on to the next fad? At least it seems the chain has been sold to become part of a larger group so if it does lose popularity its...

    The Bears

They have definitely had first team matches at C&NW, I remember going. That was probably early 90s at a guess. Tried looking it up and couldn't find anything other than the fact a 4 day Warwick v Worcester 2nd XI game started today at Binley Road.

Agreed. It seems the whole business is based on a gimmick that is currently fashionable with the hipster crowd when it goes out of fashion the business has had it.

    The Bears

Remember going to C&W and it was packed. Used to go to Edgbaston for county games and at most you'd have a handful of people there. The official reason they don't do it anymore is they've spent so much on Edgbaston they need to use it as much as possible but that doesn't make sense to me...

    Time wasting

We all know every team time wastes but Saturday was ridiculous. How there was no cards for time wasting is beyond me. Would love to see them experiment with time keeping like this. Maybe a friendly or something. Have the clock on display and if the game is paused so does the clock.

Not for me, I'm weird and prefer my drink in a glass rather than poured into a plant pot from a watering can. Also like my food on a place not a trowel. At least they won't have far to go to Wilkos when they run short of watering cans.

    Transfer Rumour #CARLBAKERDAY

90 mins against Rochdale 2-0 win (according to my Pompey supporting mate playing centre mid which seems odd), came on for last 20 mins in 3-0 loss to Oxford, not in the squad for 1-1 draw with Walsall. From what my mate says the fans aren't best pleased with the manager saying they need Baker...

    Give us a job...

There's a couple of new warehouses going up round the back of Coventry Airport, might be worth popping up there to see who is moving in and if there's anything going. When's that new Amazon place off Browns Lane supposed to be happening? Bound to be jobs going when that is ready to go.

Important breaking news in the CT What the hell has happened to our local paper that this is the sort of rubbish that is now considered a story?

    Barcelona

Looks like another one in Marseille. Stolen car deliberately driven at a bus stop. Not confirmed as terrorism yet but you'd have to say its likely.

    Banana Skins

That was a bit odd. Its a 1-0 win against us, plenty of teams manage that. Not sure what got them so excited.

    The Bears

The original reason given by the chief exec was "Birmingham and Edgbaston has been the club’s home since 1886 and we believe that adopting the Birmingham Bears name for the NatWest T20 Blast presents a great opportunity for us to engage even more closely with fans living and working at the heart...

    Spurs @ Wembley

Just had a look and it's sold out with the away fans getting the minimum allocation under FA regs which is about 3K. Says you have to be registered on their database to buy to stop away fans buying tickets in the home end and no POTG.

    Spurs @ Wembley

Don't get this, the local council have limited the tickets available as its a London derby. But apparently not a problem when its a FA Cup semi or final or something like England v Scotland.

    On the gate ticket prices

Lets look at League 1 2015/16. Was going pretty well for a while, didn't drop out of the top 6 until March and prices were lower than you suggest: All tickets: early bird ST £10.83 , after early bird £13. Match packages: 12 game £13 6 games £13 Pre-paid tickets £18, on day tickets £20...
