    Wasps & Council conspire again

Bit of quick googling shows your in the right ballpark there which implies at that price its been sold by Severn Trent on the basis of it being green belt and not useable for development.

    Jimmy Hill Way

The timing of that all seems very convenient. I really hope the council and CT aren't using JH to score points against SISU. CT announce campaign to get our owners to leave. Club ban CT. CCC announce they are naming a road after JH. CT ask club for comment and make a big deal when they don't...

    Meeting planned for Wednesday!!

Bit strange that it hasn't been reported on at all. Even if it was just who attended and that nobody would comment. Other meetings have seen a live commentary on the CT but this one seems to have been totally ignored. As has already been said I'm sure if the meeting was cancelled or nobody from...

Petition SISU to sell the club

A (factual) piece in the FT about how much investors money has been sunk into CCFC and what result the investors have had would have a much bigger impact than any petition.

If Wasps publicly declared they wanted to buy CCFC

Interestingly I was speaking to someone this morning who works at ACL who said Wasps were getting a little concerned that the paid attendances from locals, which they seems to class as CV1 to CV6, was dropping off. Couldn't get any details on numbers unfortunately.

How much would Sisu want for the club?

Bit strange how its now £70m when 12-18 months ago they were making discrete enquires to potential purchasers and giving a ball park of less than half that.

    Bite Size Guide

Not sure that's right. Anyone can bring a JR. Maybe they mean the organisation that original started the JR being liquidated but that wouldn't necessarily happen if the club was liquidated would it?

    Wasps & Council conspire again

Does raise questions though doesn't it. If ST tried to do the same and were told it wasn't possible so sold the land at a lower value to Wasps and then once Wasps own it suddenly it can be built on and is worth far more.

    Wasps & Council conspire again

Of course not but I'm sure our local media, who have never done a deal with that same council to suppress stories for Wasps and the councils benefit will be thoroughly investigating the rapidly rising number of coincidences to ensure nothing untoward is going on.

    Wasps & Council conspire again

And strange that the council wouldn't let Severn Trent build on the land but are happy for Wasps to.

    Wasps & Council conspire again

moved it to the other thread as people were talking about it in there. Sure its just another coincidence that Wasps who, according to their owner Richardson, aren't interested in property development 'I’m not a property developer, I’ve never developed anything in my life. I’ve never thought of...

Petition SISU to sell the club

Interesting that the council wouldn't let Seven Trent build there but are supporting Wasps plans. Another coincidence no doubt.

Petition SISU to sell the club

Sure its just another coincidence that Wasps who, according to their owner Richardson, aren't interested in property development 'I’m not a property developer, I’ve never developed anything in my life. I’ve never thought of this as something I might make profit from.' are now moving into...

If Wasps publicly declared they wanted to buy CCFC

Care to show me where I've made that claim? I was saying everything Wasps do is for their own benefit and about their brand hence their teams, including their new netball team, not having the city in their name and attempting to brand everything yellow and black, colours that have no connection...

    Rochdale at home Boycott

You have to present a viable way out. SISU don't have one, if someone came up with one they'd be off like a shot. Selling the Ricoh quite possibly removed the only viable exit strategy.

Coventry City ground share with Coventry RFC at Butts Park Arena could be back on

That's certainly a valid argument. However at the moment we're short on options. If the Butts proves to be viable then its probably our best option. Get ourselves into a better position and we become more attractive for one of those foreign investors who want to put silly money in. Remember we...
