You could ask them but they are highly unlikely to do anything. Past being crap owners which isn't really a league criteria on what basis do you think they fail the test in its current form?
I wouldn't worry about it as nobody sits in the right place at away games and they often arrive with a note saying they might not be the ones you selected anyway.
Think the only thing that hasn't changed is the casino which realistically you wouldn't want to change anyway as they struggled to get anyone in last time.
Wasps have even been agreeing F&B deals independent of the JV which strikes me as a bit odd. Why would Compass pay millions for the F&B...
I would guess that in the afternoon when virtually no one shows up is cheaper to put on. Even if only a couple of hundred turned up you start getting into needing stewards, f&b open etc.
Would be worth trialling a couple of evening games at somewhere like the Butts. I'd happily pay a few quid.
There seems to be this odd idea held by many that only one side can be questioned. I see no reason why, when questions are being asked, other parties involved can't also be questioned.
This is where BR's claims get more complicated. I did bring it up in another thread a while back when he started spouting off again but it was shouted down as 'it was always council land'. From memory HGB were the company BR engaged to work on the Ricoh project and they purchased the land on the...
Same here. The season we went down was the first season I didn't have that. From day one it was clear it was going to be a relegation battle. Was more optimistic for the first L1 season but that soon passed.
Obviously don't like us losing but now it does't ruin the weekend as its pretty much...
You don't have to vote with the whip, and even if you do you can still publicly comment against it.
One question that has never been satisfactorily answered is why the vote was expected to be tight until the councillors met with Wasps in a private meeting with no minutes or record taken at...
You might want to ask your friends at Wasps how the matchday costs now compare to prior to our move to Northampton or even our first season back. Think you will find they have seen a huge increase and changes to terms to make it harder for the club to generate money.
Can you explain why it is...
Lets follow that through then. The FL say you must have at least 10 years secured. Wasps won't talk to the club. What happens then, you seem to be advocating the FL throw us out. Either that or the club have to accept any rental charge proposed by Wasps.
Where have Wasps stated this?
You also have to factor in we get a lot less for our £100K and pay far more in the way of matchday costs. Its not simply a case of saying we used to pay £1.2m now we pay £100K as its not comparing like for like.
This happens all the time in business. Companies...
Its noticeable how many people disappear when there's a game on. Obviously when we're at home you'd hope most are there but even when its an away game with a low attendance it can be the same few people posting in the match thread.
At the point at which ACL was sold to Wasps it wasn't empty. We were back playing there and the council were, publically at least, talking of rebuilding the relationship.
The first day night test in England will take place next August against the West Indies at Edgbaston. Starting at 2 in the afternoon. Not sure about the idea but have to say I'm tempted to go over one night.
I like a conspiracy theory as much as the next person but the idea that Venus is here so he can build houses on our training ground seems a but far fetched.
This is the key point. All the damage SISU have done, even moving to Northampton, could have been undone up to the point that the council sold to Wasps. That will be the thing that haunts us long after SISU have gone.
