    ACL Embarassed??

No, you wouldn't. But you're being kind. You know plenty would. ;)

    ACL Embarassed??

Well, we certainly know why you're not "incensed", it's because it was PWKH/ACL "what done it". Roles reversed and you'd be swearing like a good 'un as you do when you're going off on one. <sniff, sniff> Is that hypocrisy I can smell?

    ACL Embarassed??

I agree, but imagine if it was Fisher. And really, at the end of the day, these are business men who are supposedly trying to ensure our club has a future. PWKH has on more than one occasion stated – and hinted – at the lack of business professionalism from SISU. Doesn’t make him look good...

    ACL Embarassed??

Mr Knatchbull-Hugessen did not deny the incident. "I’m pleading the fifth (amendment)," he joked. He added: "It isn’t a question of being anti-Sisu. Let’s have some proper business discussion." Ridiculous. If this had been reversed then a few heads would be exploding on here through rage, but...

Not strictly true. The previous regime tried to renegotiate in December 2005. If Swansea rent figure if true then our payment swamps it.. ACL really are shameless.

Never thought I would be saying this, but....

I'd never give up my season ticket. It's in the blood after 40 years. After hearing Pressley talk last night I'm looking forward to the new season even more. There's more to being a fan than success, winning and league positions.

Thanks for that. More proof of the greed of ACL and the Council.

Steven Pressley at Sky Blue Trust meeting

Me and NLHWC went. I must say SP was really impressive and I really do think he can make a success of Coventry City. Nice of him to sign a birthday card for my CCFC mad son who's 7 tomorrow. Good night.

    The Council and John Mutton

OSB58. I have found a couple of things: CONGRATULATIONS Paul Fletcher in making a stand against the council and putting up the Sky Blues' crest on the Ricoh Arena. I am so pleased that finally somebody from our club has answered the wishes of many true City fans. The council should support...

I don't disagree with you. However, you are talking about Blair and the bastard child called "New Labour", which was just the Tory party with a reddish tinge. I would love to have seen what John Smith would have done. I'm a good old fashioned leftie me and no fan of Blair.

    The Council and John Mutton

It's true though. Anyone can walk in off the street and become a Councillor. You don't need any business acumen or any particular skill apart from being persuasive and being able to talk the talk.

OK, "sort" out the miners. Don't destroy them and their livelihoods! Yes, she had the balls to look after her core vote an bugger everyone else. Her policies were shortsighted and damaging.

OK, so no guarantee, but I would wager a bloody good chance. There's no denying (well, for some there is) Thatcher destroyed industry. This country IS suffering due to Thatcher's policies: the social housing shortage (71% of council houses were sold to people living in them). Was the money...

Bollocks. We'd still have a manufacturing industry, social housing for those that need it and we wouldn't be importing 60M tonnes of coal a year. The police at Hillsborough would also have been taken to task too. I was around so I know what it was like and how tough it was in the early 80s...
