    SKY Q

Don't find it much different. You can record more programs at the time but I can't say I ever had a problem before. The menu is slicker and faster but everything seems to take twice as many clicks. Haven't got multi room, think it's a rip off (not that sky in general isn't). With only me in the...

midweek matches streamed live from next season

It was, every game is streamed live. Only restriction is not to UK users but that's easy to get round.

    Our defence

I'm not a fan of the two defensive mids, leads to dull games. But it seems to be working and it looks like that is Robin's plan for the season. Keep it tight at the back and grind out wins.

    Injuries

Hopefully its just bad luck. Given that most of them seem to have happened in home games the last thing we need is for it to turn out its something to do with the pitch. There's been problems in the past with hybrid pitches leading to things like twisted knees but the technology has moved on...

    Andreu's injury

We're cursed! Hopefully the kids can do a job until January and then we can look to get someone in.

And then when people lost interest and stop watching they'll wonder what happened.

Maybe that depends which of his accounts you're referring to ;)

    Jodi Jones

Depends what was involved really. Did he have an agent pushing him to leave and he was persuaded to stay? Did keeping him impact the budget, did we need to free up money elsewhere to be able to afford to say no to offers?

If that 'helping them out' maximises my return I would absolutely continue to deal with them. That's a common occurrence in business and something I have done myself in the past. You put the legal matters to one side, which are generally being dealt with by lawyers anyway, and get on with...

Match Thread Coventry City - Carlisle United Match Thread - Tuesday 12th Sep

the FL fixture schedule really needs to be looked at, particularly with midweek games. hard enough to get people to attend as it is but a cold, rainy Tuesday night when there's Barcelona v Juve, Man Utd & Chelsea on TV gives little incentive to the walk up crowd.

100% record at the Ricoh this season for crap weather.

Think that's the least of the problems. Look at some of the London 2012 venues that went up very quickly and were all temporary.

From which perspective? If I was the council I would be doing everything I could to help the football club as its important to the city and that would be my primary aim over sticking one to the clubs current owners. Although if I was in that positon I wouldn't have made it so hard for the club...

midweek matches streamed live from next season

That article is all over the place. Headline says Football league then the article says Championship. It also goes from talking about midweek matches to all matches not between 14:45 and 17:15 on a Saturday. Talks about Sky streaming games but then says the streams will be on club websites if...

To be honest if I was involved on the decision on the FL side (and didn't have any connection to Cov) it would be very tempting to just say kick them out and that's the end of the problem. We're in L2 playing in an empty stadium, sure there would be a few articles when it happened but would...

Realistically what choice would the FL have if the Ricoh and Butts aren't options? They either let the club move temporarily again or they kick us out of the FL.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

We already have the right to control immigration form the EU we just choose not to enforce it. So the first step would be to enforce that and only allow those who are economically active (ie have jobs). Then you move on to the more general problem of housing availability. That's down to...

That's the thing, people will say the FL should insist we play at the Ricoh but that doesn't work. Wasps can just say no or they can say we want £1m a season. If they know we have no other option we're screwed.

Lets say they do and its you in charge and not Tim Fisher what do you do? Wasps say they won't even talk with you unless SISU, who you have no power over, stop legal action against CCC. CRFC say they are keen to help but not while legal action is ongoing which as before you have no power over...
