Bit worrying seeing as he probably knows more about the workings of the club than anyone on here On a lighter note I like the CT spin From nothing to report to as expected to this has been coming for a while!

Probably the best thing he did was come in and say he was drawing a line in things and was going to look at all options rather than reciting the new ground mantra. What seems to have then happened is he's been unable to get a deal done to either stay at the Ricoh or keep the academy at the...

    Our gates

That's what they tried last season, put the ticket prices down but the crowds didn't increase enough to cover the lost revenue. Its where we hit a problem compared to other clubs. Other clubs can offset lost ticket revenue with other revenue streams that we don't get.

Think after last years balls up they haven't given a figure this year have they?

To get SISU out there needs to be a viable exit strategy. At the moment the only thing I can think of is someone coming in who will offer them a figure they deem is acceptable, I expect somewhere in the region of £15-20m. Problem is why would anyone pay that, especially if they aren't a fan...

    Back to the future

Various ways of looking at it I guess. You could compare the return against the initial investment. CCC put in around £10 and got around a quarter of that back. Or compare the cost of the initial 50 year lease, think it was around £20m, with the 200 year extension which they sold for £1m...

So has he walked because he's out of his depth, didn't realise how bad things were or is it because there is more bad news on the way?

    Tony Mowbray

My feeling is the biggest issue is the failure in the loan market. Sure there's arguments to be made over some of the players he let go without bringing anyone in but even so put Kent, Armstrong and Murphy in the current side and things would be a lot different.

I'm no maths expert but £6m seems closer to £0 than it does to £60m.

We're talking about kids playing in the park on a Sunday morning getting paid.

Wonder if that's where it has actually been picked up from or if there are others who have inside information, if it turns out to be true of course. Do you think that TM is lying when he says the budget is not noticeably different to last year and that he couldn't complete deals with his...

You've totally missed my point. I can see the attraction of doing what Cov Utd are doing at a senior level - doesn't mean I agree with it but I can see why someone would do it. I can't see why someone would want to pump money into a kids side so they can get the best players and beat other kids...

    Leonard Brody

His account was open and showed he was regularly at games and would go to Ryton when in the country. For some reason the Telegraph suddenly decided to start tweeting about him being on instagram and you can guess what sort of comments he started getting. He got rid of most of his CCFC posts...

Not surprising we've got a generation of sportsmen who are more interested in their bank balance than putting in a shift and winning trophies.

I find that shocking. Kids should be playing for fun not getting paid. If you ran a team why would you do that anyway? I can kind of get the Cov Utd ego trip but nobody is looking up to you if your kids team does well.

    Mowbray, Go or Stay?

Jose Mourinho could be looking for another job soon. Would liven up the post match interviews on CWR.
