    Ricoh sponsorship

A deal could be front loaded but the sponsor would want something in return so it would probably mean the total they are paying is lower. And of course you can only have the money once so if you have it up front you're just pushing the problem back 12 months.

    Hillary / US Election Thread

The KKK endorsed him prior to the vote as well. So that's the KKK, Le Pen and Putin who support him :banghead:

    Morecambe Tickets

Can't imagine there will be many there. Hard to tempt people out in the cold at £15 a go when they can stay at home and watch England v Spain on TV

    Hillary / US Election Thread

There's a polling station under lockdown at the moment after reports of a shooting. Trump has pretty much been telling his supporters to take a shot at Hillary if she wins.

    Wasps breach agreement with bondholders

They didn't CCC sold their 50% of ACL to Wasps, Higgs sold their 50% of ACL to Wasps and CCC sold a 200 (or probably about 210 given its back up to 250) year lease extension for £1m. In what I imagine will be the focus of a future thrilling JR the sale of the lease extension was agreed in the...

    Brexit/SISU

This is one I found interesting. Was always fun to ask leave voters which particular EU laws they were opposed to and see what response you got. And of course there's the Norway thing. Norway aren't part of the EU and were held up as a good way forward to us yet their countries law adopts...

    Wasps breach agreement with bondholders

The valuation of £48.5m has never made much sense to me. Appreciate it is the value of the lease not of ACL but given the price Wasps paid for ACL and the fact adding 200 years to the lease was only worth £1m (and the original lease was something like £24m) its never sat right. I can't see how...

    Brexit/SISU

There was a thing on the radio today saying a poll in the US had shown 42% of people intending to vote for Trump believe he will start a nuclear war! Why the hell are they voting for him then???

    Brexit/SISU

The answer to all three is lots! Problem is its not that straightforward. That figure is just what we pay in - what we take out. It doesn't account for any economic impact of being members of the EU. That's where the real debate should have been.

    Wasps breach agreement with bondholders

They should have to use a different valuer, that would be interesting.

They're the same figures but they've done some rounding up and also included the aid we give via the EU however if we weren't in the EU we'd still give that aid, just directly not via the EU so I'm not sure you can really include that in the calculation.

    IS IT APRIL THE FIRST?

BBC are getting shit now, probably from Daily Mail readers, for putting a poppy on the Cookie Monster. The RBL said they weren't fussed about it but apparently that's not good enough.

Match Thread Wycombe v Coventry Match Thread - Wednesday 9th Nov

Wasn't it just West Ham that decided to do that. Presumably because it would be expensive to use their stadium. Obviously the same for us but we're not a big important PL team who can do whatever we like.
