It went eerily quiet when he went off. Not a ripple of applause, nor a boo. I think fans saw his number go up, looked at him trooping off and then realised he must have been playing.

Exactly. Big difference. Bayliss has ability at this level. Shipley's ability to play at this level is very much under question. I was a big fan of Shipley last season, but he has really struggled at League One level.

    Chaplin question?

He looked like Eden Hazard's twin brother, so I couldn't wait until we got him.

Doyle possibly. Just guessing. Was undroppable, now suddenly out of the side. Bakayoko? Injured for 8 weeks, or dropped for 8 weeks?

Have to disagree there though, because some of Shipley 's passing was simply atrocious.Clearly miss-hit passes. Bayliss did one too in the first half. It went straight out of play nowhere near anyone. Some of his passes though yesterday you could see he was trying to play one twos and there...

I am.worried about his size though. The bloke is tiny. In fact, have you ever noticed when the two sides stand in the line up side by side, how much smaller we are than most other teams?

Yeah, it's a nonsense for sure. What's changed from last year? Last year it was the very same boat, with us threatened to be kicked out. We got promoted.

So, Bakayoko is out for 8 weeks,Sterling is out for 8 weeks and Willis is out for 8 weeks. Is that right? ;)

Hiwula deserves to be dropped next week. I justification to play him at all I would say. Very, very disappointing from him yesterday and it was like playing with 10 men at times.

    Chaplin question?

I still have hope and faith that he will come good. Shame we can't play him alongside a proper centre forward like Max Biamou.

I said to my mate yesterday, it was like Luton were the home side and we were playing away.

I sort of agree, but some of that was down to miscommunication with teammates and at times, as much their fault as his. I recall him putting one ball straight into touch. Shipley's passing on the whole was awful. The difference I saw with some of Bayliss' passing was that he was passing the...

He definitely said something alallong the lines of 'He's out for 8 weeks.' then Linnell said something and Robins said 'and HE's out for 8 weeks.' Maybe he was just repeating and reiterating what he had just said.

Okay. I thought I heard him say two players were out for 8 weeks. Did I hear that wrong then?

    CWR today

Clive Eakin is a pretty good commentator actually, but he does get so many names wrong. Players and teams. I hear other commentators do it and then correct themselves. Unfortunately, I don't think Clive realises he's done it half the time and he'll make the same mistake a number of times on...

Yep. I don't think people are advocating communism, just a fairer society.

I sort of agree on Shipley, but there was certainly a lot more bad than good to my mind.
