CCFC are heading for the drop

The people who run the Ricoh are running a football stadium, I don't think the on-pitch performance really affects their other operations within the venue. It's not like Kings of Leon are going to cancel if we go down.

    SISU On Way Out?

People have been predicting SISU's departure since soon after they took over. I'll only believe it when I see it.

    This time next year..

    ...we'll be millionaires, Rodney.

    Kevin Blackwell to be appointed

Anything that's sourced from a national paper, I take with a pinch of salt.

Right, so who's joined from GMK then?

I never registered with GMK, but would have a look on rare occasions. Whatever forum software they used put me off, it was a pretty ugly site to look at.

    SISU information

Two very different scenarios. SISU are a hedge fund who actively seek out failing businesses with an eye on turning them around. Whether they succeed or not in the end, they most certainly will have checked everything from top to bottom and know exactly what they were taking over.

    SISU information

They're not the type of operation to make the move without research, so they'll have known exactly what they were taking on. I think there's something in the global financial crisis theory that changed their plans, and as SISU are a middle-man for investors it could have been a change in the...

    SISU information

If you were to look at how many club owners are doing it for love rather than money, you'd no doubt see that SISU are far from alone in this philosophy.

Article: Marlon King Wants To Stay at Coventry City

He's a cut above, but ironically given their history Boothroyd's style of football didn't seem to get the best out of him. Hopefully the display at Burnley is suggestive of how we're going about the rest of the season at least.

Club shop window will come alive!

It's still Puma yeah, there was mention of them when they first ran the article with Joe Elliott's 'best kit ever!' spiel.

Letter From Andy Thorn and Steve Harrison

Perhaps a little, but cynicism is healthy. I consider it a small step forward, which is something at least.

Should we wait to appoint new guy?

In what way did Di Matteo get lucky with WBA, a team who deservedly were promoted?

    Video of last night

Because that goal's the exception and he's generally been off the pace and misfiring.

Should we wait to appoint new guy?

How can you lack confidence in a completely hypothetical person?

Club shop window will come alive!

I like how the kits in the 1800s have the tag 'Various knickers probably worn' Nothing like wondering whether players are going commando.

    Video of last night

McSheffrey's goal is a peach. I don't recall seeing both him and Baker successfully take players on in the entire season to the same point that they did in that two minute video. Maybe change is good.

Club shop window will come alive!

Retro style would make sense seeing as Joe Elliott loves it. If we are reviving an old number here are our selections: http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Coventry_City/Coventry_City.htm Personally my vote goes to November 1889's pink and blue ensemble.

Application for the vacant manager's job

Pffft, the application is based on methods 9 years out of date. Who are you, George Graham?

Club shop window will come alive!

He was quoting Joe Elliott who says it's the best he's seen in 50 years of support. Quite the boast.

Club shop window will come alive!

I liked the sky blue/navy stripes of around 97ish.
