Match Thread Coventry v Oxford Utd Match Thread - Tuesday 18th Oct

My optimism is wearing thin but I'll go for a 2-1 win. Can see it being a small crowd tonight. Cold and dark at night now, rooted to the bottom of the table with constant bad news. Plus Champions League on the TV. Not much to persuade anyone who doesn't have a ST to attend.

    Scg meeting notes from Thursday

Isn't that his point, that they haven't got the money? Appreciate they've said it won't be Trust money used to buy the club but have they shown any viable means of raising the sort of funds we'd be talking about. Seems to me there would need to be someone sat in the background putting a lot of...

    Scg meeting notes from Thursday

What does that mean in non-accountant speak as to me it reads like they're required to submit audited accounts but have instead have submitted unaudited accounts and are trying to get the audit requirement removed. Would that not mean that until there is agreement to remove that requirement the...

    Scg meeting notes from Thursday

Wasn't Ryton said to be worth £8m recently, and it has been speculated that the remaining debt (as in what hasn't already been written down) is in the £10-15m region so you'd be looking at a ball park of £20m to purchase. Think there's more to this than we know. Fisher was clearly hinting at...

    Why won't sisu sell?

I'm certain they would sell if someone offered them what they feel is the right amount. The court cases, as they are JRs, can continue without ownership of the club and any sale could include clauses regarding what happens in the event that they actually win a case for a change and go on to...

    Scg meeting notes from Thursday

Big difference was Portsmouth Trust were buying the club out of administration and the FL had stated they would not issue the golden share to anyone other than the trust. That's before you consider they are a minority shareholder, had a 7 figure loan from the local council and sold their car...

    Questions to F.A. Today

Much as I don't like Clarke he's got a point here. Unless there's something illegal going on they can't really start deciding arbitrarily who can and can't run clubs. Of course you look at an extreme case like ours and think its an easy decision but not everyone would be that clear. Do they just...

    Scg meeting notes from Thursday

The top investigative reporters at the CT have done well to get all the details if it was all supposed to be confidential. What I don't get is the trust say they have been working on this for a while. They also say that have met and talked with all involved in this mess, including JS. Why not...

    Breakeven

How about new owner buys Wasps and then buys CCFC? CCFC play for free and get all revenues, Wasps get charged £1.3pa rent and have to pay the bonds.

    Help for Tuesday...

If you book a single each way rather than a return you can get the train for about £15.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

In what is surely a complete coincidence Cameron has just been given a very well paid advisory role at one of the companies which benefited greatly from the privatisation of parts of the NHS.

    FA Cup 1st round draw

Knowing our luck the FA will decide to start enforcing the rules and we'll be kicked out of the competition.

    Mark Venus

If things don't improve I'd be looking to get the permanent appointment in in the first couple of weeks in December so he can have a look at the squad before the window opens. Knowing the way we do things we'll probably appoint someone the day after it closes.

Speak to Venus tonight - CWR Phone In

Is this not the best way to go after them? Shadow directors aren't allowed yet nobody thinks anyone other than Joy makes the big deductions.

Match Thread Charlton v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 15th Oct

I would say he is a lot better, he actually knows how to defend. The Turnbull signing is looking a very odd one. When he joined us there was Saints fans pissed off and talking about him being in their first team this season. He looks a million miles away from being a PL player.

Match Thread Charlton v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 15th Oct

What a load of crap, our biggest defeat of the season so far. From the sounds of how we're defending it could easily be more than 3.

At least there will be lots of additional time to get an equaliser.

    Clive Live

They were taking the FM feed which was Wasps commentary and people were understandably not happy. Guess when they switched that off they somehow ended up with Clives mic live.
