    Safety Officer Removed?

Easily. He's the safety officer for the club and if the ground operator says, as they have done with other roles, that CCFC can't use their own safety officer and must use the one provided by the ground operator, at considerable additional expense, then he no longer has a job.

    Ashes 17/18 Thread

Heard Gillespie talking about it on R5 and he basically said Smith can be a bit naive and easily let. It certainly wasn't Bancroft who instigated it so you're looking at Warner and / or Lehmann.

Love how some former aussie players are getting worked up about Smiths 'treatment'. They've never been slow dishing it out but don't seem to like anything coming back at them.

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

If Wasps went pop I wonder if all those people who are just desperate to watch rugby would be heading to the Butts?

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

How on earth have you come to that conclusion? If Wasps and / or ACL go bust or they decide to move elsewhere the stadium is on the market again. The club can rent and look for a new owner who will buy both the club and stadium.

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Exactly. If it all goes tits up it proves Fisher right that the stadium is not viable with a huge debt attached. Its beyond me how more people can't grasp the simple fact that if we want rid of SISU the Ricoh being potentially available for a future owner to purchase would be a massive plus...

    Safety Officer Removed?

God knows had bad things will be next season. The more Wasps have taken control of running matchday (and charging us over the odds for doing so) the worse things have got. Surprised the CT haven't got an article up on this seeing as they have been running Wasps articles the last few days.

    24 Hours in Police Custody

Whole thing was odd, neither of them came over particularly well. In some cases its frustrating when they don't get a charge but you could see why here. Plus how young was the cop doing the investigating, was he on work experience?

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Only if you have incredibly low expectations! Sure its just coincidence that the Wasps PR machine has sprung to life when CRFC have been promoted and CCFC look like they could be headed to the play offs.

Even you can't seriously think if a move elsewhere was financially beneficial to Wasps they would stay here.

Not sure why you'd think anything dodgy might happen in Russia. This is a piece about the KHL, their top level ice hockey league. Written by Russian sports writer Slava Maiamud:

    The World Cup Thread

You do get questionable reviews in other sports but not in the way football is where pretty much every VAR decision is questioned. Some issues can be addressed with minor rules changes. For example make the ball hitting a hand handball no matter if its deliberate or not, remove the grey area...

    Ashes 17/18 Thread

The ICC punishments are a joke and surely now will have to be looked at. In the same series they tried to ban Rabada for 2 games for this until he lawyered up: Realistically if you're getting hammered in a series and cheating is only a 1 match ban for 1 or 2 players everyone is going to be at it.

To answer my own question the ban is for all international cricket and domestic cricket in Australia. They aren't banned from the IPL as such but the IPL commissioner Rajiv Shukla has voided their contracts. Interestingly Warner is banned from ever holding any leadership position in the...

Makes me laugh how an England player gets the slightest touch and the pundits are saying there was contact definite pen. Then when one of our players stands on someone's foot they're saying its not a pen!
