    Well Done SISU

Especially when Westwood came out and said himself I want contract talks and want to extend my contract. That was with a year to go and SISU ignored him. Then tried to speak to him with 6 months to go. I dont think Jukes value would have diminished to the extend of the potential cost of...

    Well Done SISU

In the rest of the post I accept that we have to sell. The question I asked was why not wait 4 months to try and maximise our chances of staying up. Then sell. Surely we could have waited 4 months. Thats where I feel they took a gamble.

I love Brighton, went for the first time this year, great place, great atmosphere. Loved all those independant quirky little shops. Wandered around having a few quite beers soaking up the atmosphere listenting to the sea thinking to myself what a top place. Then this horrendous bright pink...

    Well Done SISU

It is an interesting one. Oldskyblue changed my opinion of SISU a little bit on here I have to admit. I have to be honest if they are not sugar daddy type people then we as a football club will have to balance the books. However where I think they gambled our future was the sale of the Juke...

If thats your only ctiticism of him now, I will take that :D In all seriousness another Jimmy Hill would be amazing a truelly phenomenal manager. In todays footballing climate we will probably never get to see the likes of him again, unfortuantely. That is until maybe until the whole...

Ha ha ha, They will need a lot of marble if they are going to do a Thorn statue ;)

My main concern is that we dont just judge AT by wins and defeats. I think SISU create a unique challenging environment, in which a manager can succeed whilst still losing, as mad as that sounds. I think we have a real gem on our hands in Andy Thorn. I think SISU will possibly sell all of...

Very interesting and controversial view point.

    Duffy and Nick

I dont think by asking Duffy and Nick if they may now think AT is a good a manager equates to "Duffy and Nick you want Cov to lose just so you can prove a point". They have been quite critical of Thorn to the extent that I formed the opinion that they did not think he was the right man to do...

    Duffy and Nick

Of course I don't think they wanted us to lose. Don't be so silly. They seem like top blokes who generate great interesting debates on here. We have crossed opions about AT as a manager. I would like to think that they have a bit more about them than to to think about in such a childish...

I don't think it was mistakes. He was finally allowed to sign a couple of loanees to replace a couple of the players SISU let go. A couple of senior players have stayed injury free and suddenly Thorn is achieving the same as last season. That can't be coincidence. You can't ignore the fact he...

    What a turn round...

the manager achieved this last season when he was even less experienced, before sisu did a hatchetbjob on him. He has just been finally allowed to replace a couple of those loses with loanees and some pros have come back from injury. Great manager who deserves a,lot more credit on this site.

Even Duffy may have to finally accept Andy Thorn is a good manager. Assuming that you can't have two honeymoons in one marriage. :) You just don't have a team playing away with Christie, Ruffles, Thomas and Bigi in the first 11 like away at palace. You have a team with one or two of them max...

If we stay up I think this would be a damn good squad............

That would compete in league one. But it would be another relegation fight in the championship

If we stay up I think this would be a damn good squad............
