Interesting series of Tweets regarding the finances of League One clubs

Without checking his figures I'd assume he's just taking what is listed as wages in each clubs accounts but that includes every employee of the club not just the players. The lower down the leagues you go the more significant it becomes as you could easily have chief execs earning a lot more...

    Tommy Robinson

A question for those on here who support Robinson. What do you think of him defending the likes of Richard Price, Milo Yiannopoulos and Paul Golding?

And another. Give it 10 mins and then post about how we haven't taken a wicket for a while!

    Tommy Robinson

Yesterday was not exactly the finest moment for his supporters. People openly showing off nazi tattoos, crowds chanting Allah is a paedo etc hardly help when, as in this thread, people are claiming racism doesn't come in to it. Its all well and good claiming people like that are nothing to do...

    Tommy Robinson

This question has been asked before on this thread but not answered. Can you give a couple of examples of cases where the story was broken by Robinson as opposed to him starting up on something already covered by the media and / or following an arrest?

    Coventry city centre

The orange slide seems to dump you outside and the blue & white one sends you into a concrete wall. Couple of minor design flaws.

I'm not a building expert but are they building it out of wood? That can't be the best option for longevity.

    Boycott cov telegraph

Pretty much sums it up. The website is pretty much unusable even if you did want to read anything on it. Which increasingly isn't the case as its mostly articles not related to Coventry pushed out by the owners. How many staff have the CT even got left in Coventry? Beyond me why they rebranded...

    Boycott cov telegraph

What's annoyed me the most is Turner trying to make out its nothing. Saying that people are taking it out of context because they haven't watched the video of the interview. The people taking it out of context are the CT. They've chosen which part of the interview to lead with and create a whole...

Early Bird Part 2 - Now Extended!

Maybe Sky Blue in the Community could set something up, or the Jimmy Hill Fund if that's still a thing (haven't heard much from them recently).

    R.A.O.B club to close

Come as a shock? CT on the ball as usual. Sure it was on here months ago it was going to be closed.

There's serious problems with sentencing in our judicial system. Its practically random. How on earth can a judge have someone plead guilty to an offence like this and let them walk out of court.

    Football on Prime

I'm sure when it was decided it was a bad thing for all the games to be sold one big package it was going to be us as fans who benefitted. I'm certainly not benefitting. You used to have 1 subscription to Sky and that was it. Now you need Sky, whose prices have gone through the roof, BT and Amazon.

    Season Ticket Sales a History

Good call, if anyone knows (or has an idea who would know) it will be him.

    Season ticket sales

Pompey went from winning the FA Cup and playing European football against the likes of AC Milan to League 2 in 5 years yet their fans still showed up. Average of over 12K the season they went down and over 15K the following year in L2.

    Season ticket sales

2015/16 was a flat rate of £249. Was a slight increase but nowhere near enough to offset the lower price. That worked out at £11 per game.

    Season ticket sales

But why does that impact us to such an extent and not other clubs? Sunderland STs are £310-£415, Pompey are £369-£449, ours are £322-£368 so it certainly can't be the price. I refuse to believe that Sunderland and Pompey are far more prosperous cities than ours so its something else. Can't be a...

    Season ticket sales

It increasingly looks that way. I get that every team has people that will only turn up for the big games and people that can't come week in week out but when you compare our season ticket sales to some other clubs the idea that we are in any way a big club that has some sort of right to be in...
