Need the crowd to be at least 28,869 to keep the season average above 30K.

    Villa Rivalry

Not if 'size' correlates with 'achievement'. 56 seasons v 34 in the top flight 1 top flight title v 6th highest place finish 1 FAC each 3 LC v 2 semi-finals 8 2nd tier titles v 1 I mean, its not vaguely close at all. Still, it will be lovely to be potentially 2 leagues above them next year.

I reckon there are around 500-700 left in home areas (which tbf is damn good going). So it'll probably be 29K. So far QPR has been the lowest - 29,015.

    Team you dislike the most

Following on from the weekend's win, and the subsequent Villa thread, I'm interested to know which team people hate the most. I've included all WM teams, Leicester and Sunderland as individual options as these are the teams I've heard mentioned on here over the years (although not WBA tbf)...

    Villa Rivalry

I was there during that era when we were the only West Midland teams in the top flight for years. They literally didn't regard us as a rival in any shape or form. They mention about relegating us like I would to, say, an Everton fan if we'd relegated them in 98 at Goodison. Doesn't make it a...

    Villa Rivalry

The Villa rivalry is one of the most tinpot things about us, they have never given a shit about us.

    25/26 January Transfer Window

PL clubs are significantly less impacted by ticket revenue than teams lower down the food chain.

I see both arguments. A firing Wright wins us the league though and that's why I'm inclined to give him as many chances as possible. The Saturday Haji is the best striker in the league.

    Championship thread 25/26!

And obviously if we keep tracking at 2ppg the likelihood of both Ipswich and Middlesbrough finishing above us is close to non-existent. Both would need 2.3 ppg from here. Middlesbrough are not winning 13 drawing 5 and losing 1 out of their last 19.

    Championship thread 25/26!

I didn't mention Ipswich as I think they will average 2ppg from here. Just don't see Middlesbrough doing it. They're on 1.8 this season, 1.2 over the last 6, 1.9 over the last 10. 32 from 19 for us (1.7 ppg) feels so doable. Its going to be an absolute killer if we don't make it.

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Tuesday 20th Jan

Agreed. Saturday felt a bit more pressurised after their win on Friday. Hopefully we can return the favour midweek.

    Championship thread 25/26!

I don't see Middlesbrough averaging more than 2 ppg until the end of the season so 87 would secure it for us if they get exactly that. So 85/86 still feels like it could be enough to me.

It'll be much more than that, wasn't saying it was shit. It'll be 28K plus whatever Millwall bring I'd have thought.

Looking at the amount of blue dots this could be heading for the lowest attendance of the season. Hopefully it will pick up today. Tickets are dirt cheap for this one.

I’d start Wright although it would feel a tad harsh on Simms. The Wright of yesterday in that cameo is the Wright who is the best striker in the league. I want to see if he can replicate that over 60 mins on Tuesday.

Dunno how to quote from other threads but you said this before Swansea. Maybe it was just good guess work on your part as you were spot on. Saddlebrains said: Bidders will be starting 2 of the 3 that missed the last game are back, the other will hopefully be Ipswich

    Leicester tickets

Yeah I was never sure about that. I wonder if it partly hinges on actual away fans through the gate as well rather than counting away tickets sold. Our sell-outs seem to range from anywhere between 31.1K and 31.4K

Yeah but we’re also back to hearing the team in advance and what’s happening with transfers again. Hopefully the latest mole will get sacked too.
