The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Britain’s biggest carmaker, Jaguar Land Rover, warned that a hard Brexit would cost £1.2bn a year in trade tariffs and make it unprofitable to remain in the UK. Ralf Speth, JLR chief executive, spoke out ahead of a key meeting on Friday as Theresa May tries to finalise her plans for the UK’s...

Would be nice to see a win and something that could be held up as a clear example of a leave vote benefiting us. In practice how would it work given that the UK has already sold some of its quota to forgiven vessels and how much of the UK catch is for export? Getting in to trade wars isn't...

You mentioned both of those last week but didn't reply to my question of how they related to leaving the EU? One puts the UK 3 years behind as a result of Brexit and the other benefits a country on the opposite side of the world!

Of course it would help, they'd be telling us their negotiating position! But its not down to them. We decided to leave, we were told we were taking back control and everyone would be desperate to deal with us as they need us more than we need them. Now the reality is proving to be different...

2018-19 Shirt Launch and Evening with Mark Robins - 29th June

Nice to see. Presume that's across the whole of the FL and not just us? Great either way, try and raise awareness in a demographic likely to keep it to themselves and try and get on with things.

Poll: How long will Trump be President?

Looks like Moog could be following Harley out of the US. Another triumph for Trumps trade war.

How are either of those related to Brexit? Reading about the beef deal with China it appears the Chinese have been inspecting facilities around Europe since well before the referendum with a view to lifting the ban. The ban has already been lifted in some EU countries and is expected to be...

Thats exactly the point, nobody can now how those that didn't vote would have voted or even why they didn't vote. Its the same as claiming theres no point having another vote as everybody knew exactly what they were voting for and nobody would change their vote. My vote certainly wouldn't be...

    Scummy people

Guess it comes down to proof. The hoax call will come from a phone not registered to anyone. Then the ambulance or fire crews will be pelted by people hidden in the shadows no doubt with their faces covered. That said make the penalties if they are caught much more severe. Hoax call is a...

That would only be true if leavers weren't constantly going on about the will of the people. You're drawing a conclusion about those who didn't vote to suit you preference when in reality you can have no idea what a higher turnout would have meant to the end result. You can't claim something is...

Been a few posts on here where you've implied people shouldn't have a say in things but calling the result of a vote totally irrelevant is a bit much!

Great cross, always good when you see them look first so you know it was intentional rather than just hitting it in the right general area and hoping for the best. Not so great the rolling round on the floor holding his head.

Same for me. Don't see the point of spending a small fortune on tickets and then getting so paralytic you don't know whats going on or have any memory of it! Not sure why its acceptable at gigs really. If you went to the theatre and were constantly getting up to go to the bar and stumbling...

Wasn't 52% of voters it was 52% of those who voted. Its a subtle but important difference as only 37% of registered voters put an x in the leave box. That equates to 34% of voting age population or 27% of total population. If Cameron hadn't been so sure he was going to win a bit more thought...
