You should watch the film. It is excellent. Tom Courtenay, Rodney Bewes, Leonard Rossiter and Julie Christie. A true classic.

Billy Liar. The TV series. The 1963 film version with Tom Courtenay, is a true British classic and an absolutely fantastic movie, but I then also liked the 70's TV sitcom too. I don't think I have ever seen it repeated. I wonder if it ever was. Anyone else remember it? Jeff Rawle.
