    Trust event at Albany tonight

Because they might use it as security to take out millions in debt to pay themselves back. Can't have that, people would be up in arms.

Listening to CWR matchday commentary when not in local area

The issue with the CWR commentary is simple. The BBC pay for the local radio rights so they have no choice other than to block commentary online. The cost for streaming / national / international rights would be far higher and outside the top handful of PL teams there isn't the demand to make...

    Double decker crash

That's easy to say in theory but as anyone who has to do a significant amount of driving for their job will know in practice you wouldn't be in your job long if you turned up and refused to drive. The far bigger issue here is that anyone, let alone a pensioner, can legally drive anything, let...

    Planned trouble for Sunderland game?

That facebook group is always talking about trouble and it never happens. If the idiot minority of Sunderlands fans want to have a punch up with the idiot minority of our fans then arrange to do it away from the ground and innocent bystanders. To damage the statue, wall or garden would be...

    Trust event at Albany tonight

Imagine what our squad would have been like the last couple of seasons in L2 if we'd never broken the lease and were still having to hand over £1.3m a year.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

There are rules, although in reality I doubt much would happen if we were to break them. That being said the chances of any party in power wanting to cut VAT to a level below that allowed by the EU is practically zero so its not really worth worrying about.

    Sunderland at home

Why are they bringing so many here when they hate the city and its on TV, is this what they take on their travels every week? Better hope the Ricoh is prepared, wouldn't want there to be a delayed kick off.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I look forward to VAT being abolished next March.

    Trust event at Albany tonight

You can come back from moving away, as we did. To replace a stadium given away by the council will need £100m plus, where's that magically appearing from?

    Trust event at Albany tonight

Wasps being gifted the Ricoh by the council will be looked back on in years to come as the single most damaging thing done to the football club by anyone. The road back from that is virtually impossible.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Does this not highlight a potential issue post-Brexit with all sorts of negotiations. We will be negotiating agreement B based on our requirements with having agreement A in place. What if something then happens to agreement A?

    Death of the high street

Think the banks just work on the basis a lot of people are too lazy to change banks so they can shut down branches and push people to online banking. Less to do with how much a branch is used, more to do with how much money they can save.

    Saw this on Farcebook earlier...........

Wasps most popular tweet in a long time by the looks of it. Loads of replies.

You must have linked to the wrong article because the one you've linked says nothing like what you've posted.

    Knife Crime, Stabbings.

Of course there are those who will try and tell you its not in any way linked to the huge cuts in police funding over the same period.

    ticket sales

That sort of drop off has got to be a huge concern for Wasps. I don't think even the most pessimistic (or optimistic depending how you look at it!) on here would have predicted that big of a drop that quickly. This is the game that they highlight as the big game of the season, and of course...

    Trouble after the game?

That must be the Cookie the stewards mention when everything goes wrong, normally along with words like clueless and idiot! Don't know the chap myself but the people who work for him seem to think a lot of the problems at the Ricoh on a matchday are down to him.

Except we have no plans to change the system post-Brexit. “We do not intend to change the method for allocating existing quota.” Fisheries white paper: sustainable fisheries for future generations And one of the biggest problems for our own fishermen, that 61% of our quota is allocated to just...

Match Thread Coventry City vs Barnsley Match Thread - Saturday 15th Sep

Going to be a tough game today. We won't get as many chances as we've had in some other games so far this season so the finishing will need to be a lot better.
