    Gay Footballers

I was getting my 80s duos mixed up. Cancer took Charles too.

    Gay Footballers

Didn't one of those two die? I might be thinking of Mel and Kim. One of Charles and Eddie definitely did, sadly.

    Gay Footballers

People were interested and it was fairly big news, but it very quickly became 'oh right, thought so' and if the next swimming star is gay, nobody will really be bothered. Hopefully this is what happens here, the sooner we're at the point where who a sportsman likes to have sex with is as...

    Gay Footballers

This is a pretty big story if it happens, but the good thing is that something as innocuous as sexual preference will very quickly become less and less newsworthy once the floodgates are open. Shame it's the Sun though, who hardly have the best track record and would make it seem like a jump or...

    Football Manager update

Yeah, that's locked in no matter what you do. I was doing ace in the league and had been taken over so theoretically had everything in place to return but had to stick with selling out Sixfields until the three years was up. Bought the Ricoh not long after returning.

Andy Thorn favourite for the Kidderminster job

If it's so abhorrent to revel in Andy Thorn being fired (not that anyone really is) I assume nobody would take any delight in Tim Fisher's exit.

Andy Thorn favourite for the Kidderminster job

Defending Andy Thorn as a football manager in spite of all the overwhelming evidence is Johnny Cochrane territory. If a bloody tracksuit shows up, hold on to your hats.

    Murphy

If you could pop up during every game and slag the entire team off that'd be magic, thanks in advance.

If you quickly scroll through this thread without realising which tab you have open, it's terrifying.

    Pardew

If you've ever patted someone on the shoulder, you employed more violent force than Alan Pardew did.

    Locals boosting the crowd.

Why is Kev being 'our very own' a reason to be beyond any criticism while our very own call each other all the names under the sun here?

    finally ! ! ! !

It's nice to stop a run of defeats regardless, I don't think anybody's baking a cake for it or anything.

    Pardew

Yeah, I remember him making a meal of a Jordan Clarke challenge at Derby in particular.

    Pardew

Dublin was with Villa. He got more behind it than Pardew did, but still a textbook dive by Savage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAu1oVeVFU4

My score predication for tomorrow (based on FIFA 14) is...

On my FIFA career Clarke threw a strop and wanted out. I have trouble with EA's realism, but this happened a few days before his transfer request so hats off to them. Replaced him with Alex Nimely, who's the focal point of a speedy gonzalez frontline with Wilson and Moussa. Nimely's scored...

Andy Thorn favourite for the Kidderminster job

Don't know about the Ricoh part, but a capable manager could have kept us up that season. Thorn had no idea how to react to what the opposition was doing so we surrendered games far too often.

    Pardew

Both the BBC pundits were outraged at Pardew's vicious attack with no provocation, all the while as they show Meyler push him out of the way.

    Pardew

Storm in a teacup really. He's stupid, but it's about as much of a violent assault as getting a pat on the back.
