I said on here after the Derby win that if we could pick up some points from Rotherham, Luton and Wycombe games then we will be in good shape, we picked up 1, albeit with only 2 of those games going ahead.
What is more worrying for me is that all I hear is how "Coventry play good football" and...
I'd love a win here, it would set us up nicely for Wycombe game and with pretty much all results being kind to us over the weekend, would give us some breathing space.
Having said that, a point one be decent and we go from there... as long as we keep picking up points and not losing we'll be ok.
Not sure what this has to do with him being finished, he's back in light training, he's been incredibly unlucky with injuries and I hope he can still come back and play at some sort of level, if not at Cov then at a good club in the football league.
The whole system in the UK is a joke, replacing lockdown with lockdown for 80% of the country. I live in Copenhagen and it's a big city but the restrictions are nowhere as strict here. The blow back in 2021, economically is going to be huge and feel we will be looking back and saying "what the...
I live in Copenhagen, yesterday they took the step to partially shut down things (schools, Uni's, people told to work from home, etc). They have around the same situation in terms of numbers as the UK. I do not know why the UK seem to be so slow on the uptake and quite frankly why Cheltenham is...
I think the occasion itself would just be such a great lift for everyone and a chance for everyone at the club to come together, especially as it's FA Cup as well.
... we beat Blues in the FA Cup next round, we then draw a top club at home (Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, etc) and we agree return to the Ricoh for that game!
It would be a romantic story and a hell of a party!!
Here's to dreaming anyway haha.
For those who like a podcast, there is a really good 90's football podcast called 'Quickly Kevin, will he score?'
It's a few comedians (one of which is Josh Widdicombe) who basically talk about football in the 90's and it's really good, very niche but great nostalgia (I'm 33 so it's my...
This is a question that I have often pondered.... I think i'd do the following:
- Buy the Football Club (Golden Share) from SISU
- I'd then give it to the fans to run and have full control over, my stake would be something like 20%
- I'd buy the Ricoh Arena, negotiate with new sponsors so the...
It's a strange one isn't it... the lower down you go the more likely it is for youngsters to get a chance to break through, this obviously then reflects really well on the academy. You go higher and less players break through and nobody talks about the academy so much.... does Wigan's academy...
I'd argue Coleman is very much third division, literally only had success as Wales manager, absolute fraud. Talks the talk but has absolutely no idea.... can't imagine he is very popular with players either.
For the money he will earn, that's not an issue financially and if he's as good of a manager as he thinks he is then he will want to challenge himself in the championship.
There is security now at Lincoln but you go on a terrible run and he's out of a job anyway nobody stays at a club longer...
Interesting that they talk about how he is earning 140k a year at Lincoln and will get 1m a year at Huddersfield.... money absolutely talks and i don't blame him. Bigger club, bigger challenge and bigger contract!
