The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The big problem, well one of them, is that the changes the Conservatives have made to how the electoral register is maintained and constituency boundaries makes it incredibly difficult for Labour to win in England. The change to individual voter registration has seen 800,000 drop off the...

    She's not wrong there.

    General Election

The same policy proposed by Labour in 2013 and the Conservatives in 2017. Slightly different response.

    Is Silence Golden ?

US Sports are way ahead on promotion. Think a lot of it stems from basketball and ice hockey where there's multiple home games a week so they really work to sell tickets. Difficult balance here though, if you implemented some of the things they do you'd get people complaining about...

Probably like when they play Leicester and its full of away fans.

So, if Pompey is worth £5.67M how much...

The heritage committee to me reads as the new owner allowing them to save face a bit. They still wanted fan representation and were told no and then the idea of this board came around. Think if push came to shove it would turn out they have no actual power or influence.

    Rory Donnelly NSFW

If any of this turns out to be true then it makes you wonder if something similar was the non-footballing reason his loan suddenly ended.

£1.25 m bid for Port Vale

I'm not worried about it in the slightest but surely you can see offering to pay £1.25m and the debt is written off or paying £1.25m and inheriting £3.7m of debt to be serviced are very different things? It makes headline figures, like the £1 or the Hoffman offer, hugely misleading which isn't...

£1.25 m bid for Port Vale

As ever the devil is in the detail. If they did purchase for £1.25m what do they propose to do about the millions in loans owed to Smurthwaite?

Transport and planning are both under WMCA control now so I think that would be a yes.

    GO AND VOTE

Now we've got a bloody Villa supporter who could well be involved in decisions that impact the future of the club. Not that footballs the most import thing here but it is a football forum!

    GO AND VOTE

1,961,153 eligible to vote and Andy Street wins by 3766 / 0.19% margin leaving Coventry represented by a WM Mayor, a role we didn't want created in the first place, who we didn't vote for with Sion Simon having won here. Seems a lot of people didn't cast their second vote. The number seems way...

    General Election

Looks like a higher turnout in Solihull than elsewhere has pulled the Conservative candidate back into it. Its being said that the higher turnout in Solihull is over 65s but I can't trace that back to where it was originally sourced from. If that holds true we'll probably get the same arguments...

    GO AND VOTE

They've revised it to 24% in Cov but still pathetic. 26% across the West Mids. So we'll end up with a mayor who around 15% of the electorate voted for as either first choice or second choice. Labour has won the first preference votes in Cov by 4K. There's going to be around 10K second votes to...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

His offer wasn't to buy the club so its not comparing like with like. He wanted to buy selected assets only.

Fisher will get all excited reading that document. It parrots all his favourite catchphrases about breaking even and not being competitive in the Championship. Seems a touch odd to go through everything they did at the hands of dodgy owners and rescuing the club to sell it on a couple of years...
