    Who's responsible?

But other councils don't do it. If they did you could spend a few seconds on Google and give us a nice long list of other clubs who have been threatened with similar treatment.

    Who's responsible?

OK then, has any council ever even threatened to force their local team to play behind closed doors following a pitch invasion. I can't find a single shred of evidence to suggest that is the case but as you are so sure this is perfectly reasonable action by the council I'm sure you can cite...

Bristol Rovers Fan (here in peace)

You can have 6K, there's no reason they can't let you have that many. More than that, despite the ground being about a quarter full, is a problem as our councils Safety Advisory Group are completely incompetent, in fact they might not let you have all 6K in case there's less than half a mile...

    Who's responsible?

This was the question: When did a council ever threaten to do this to a club previously because of a pitch invasion? This was your answer: The answer is that a council can issue a prohibition order for a multiple of reasons including pitch invasions if there is a safety issue. That's not an...

    Who's responsible?

There's aren't relevant reasons to do so. If there were you would be able to give literally hundreds of examples of the same treatment being applied to clubs by their local councils.

    Who's responsible?

When has a flare been thrown on the pitch at the Ricoh? In the three months between that happening and the changes being made how many repeat incidents were there? When someone died at an event of a drugs overdose what action was taken? How about when someone was stabbed at an event there...

    Who's responsible?

At what point has there been any hint of something serious happening. Were people terrified of being severely injured by one of the handful of tennis balls thrown? On that basis can you show where action was taken against ACL for the pitch invasion following the charity match or against Wasps...

    Who's responsible?

Good to see nice accurate evidence being posted :banghead: So Blackpool whose pitch invasion caused a game to be abandoned would only have to play a game behind closed doors if they had another pitch invasion causing the players to be taken off the pitch. So a technicality a month before the...

    Any Wembley Tickets Yet ?

Just had mine delivered. The postman was about 2 hours later than usual as he has so many to deliver!

    Who's responsible?

Agree Duffer and its what is frustrating about the CT, they should be in asking those questions but we all know they won't. How many games have Charlton or Blackpool had to play behind closed doors?

    Behind closed doors

They aren't counting the Wembley celebration are they? That would be ridiculous. What action was taken when people were on the pitch protesting against SISU after that charity game when we were in Northampton?

    Who's responsible?

Don't go so I couldn't tell you but a few seconds on google threw this up: You could definitely make an argument that a naked bloke wandering across the pitch at what is marketed as a family friendly event is equal to, if not worse, than anything that happened at the Sheff Utd game. And how...

    Who's responsible?

Now who could possibly stand to benefit when CCC and Wasps once again take action to make the matchday experience worse for CCFC fans. As I mentioned before in another thread chap in front of me last night refused to be searched and was turned away. Will he bother coming back? We aren't in a...

Question to all who witnessed last night.

The ball boy in front of the away fans had a couple of decent touches. Can we get him signed up in time to play at the weekend?

Fan ownership, why won't it work?

Why not? That's exactly what Pompey did to show intent. They started collecting the £100 pledges in March 2012, the takeover wasn't until over a year later.

Fan ownership, why won't it work?

The administrator ran the club for over a year giving the Trust time to raise the money, do you think Appleton would have done that for us? It wasn't the administrator didn't gazump them he received another offer which would have seen a better return to those owed money than the PST bid. There...

Fan ownership, why won't it work?

Lets say you set shares at £1K. You ask people to put down a no commitment deposit of £100 that is held in escrow by an independent third party. That then illustrates to the seller that you are serious and can raise an amount that they deem acceptable to sell for.

Fan ownership, why won't it work?

Portsmouth are no longer majority fan owned. Having been unable to get out of L2 they needed extra investment which diluted their shareholding below 50% AFC Wimbledon is a one off situation that should never happen again. That just leaves Wycombe and Exeter, while both are to be applauded...

Match Thread Coventry v Southend Match Thread - Tuesday 14th Mar

Did anyone else have issues getting in last night? For a small crowd there was an unexpected queue which seem to be caused by searching everyone. A lot of people in front of me far from happy and refusing to be searched (they didn't get let in, turning fans away doesn't seem the best idea)...

Would any of our players get into any other League 1 team

I think with some of the younger players (Stevenson, DKE, the two Thomases, Jones, Haynes and Harries) would do OK in better teams with more experienced players around them. The problem is there's too many of those players being relied on and the older pros aren't up to the job.
