Again, it is relevant. Harder to replace than a McNulty/Walsh - yes. Impossible to find a decent replacement and progress - no.

I think you'll find he was awarded an MBE, received 14 Brit award nominations, 2 grammy nominations and penned some internationally recognisable tunes such as Re-Rewind, Fill Me In, Walking Away and 7 Days.

I mean, there's some truth in what you say but I don't think it's always the case that it's harder the more you go up the pyramid. MR isn't stupid - he'll know that when your crown jewels play well and put themselves in the window, you need to plan for what's likely going to be an inevitable...

I should also add that the above isn't guaranteed to happen everytime and maybe if we do lose CoH, we do go backwards. The most recent history has told us to trust MR and his team to get it right, when we lose such a key player.

Of course it's relevant. When we've lost/not kept the likes of Walsh or McNulty, we've not gone backwards. We've managed to bring in players to replace them that have helped us move up the leagues/league table.

They're fair points. But you don't need to sign a Gyo or Hamer every summer - it's nice but not essential. I know we need to move forward and bringing in better players but brining in a Gyo or Hamer every summer doesn't necessarily equate to progression. MR and his team have demonstrated time...
