    Blues...off the pitch

They've got that fan ownership rule there too. Maybe when more clubs begin to collapse football will become a little more grounded again, although I can't see it any time soon.

    Blues...off the pitch

There's no way in hell 80% of people are being disorderly. It's Coventry, not Mogadishu.

    Blues...off the pitch

Being drunk and disorderly is already an offence.

    Cody's goal?

He looked his sharpest for a long time before and after the goal, certainly wasn't as quiet as suggested. The goal was a snap shot with his left (I think) right into the bottom corner, took it well during a bit of a mess in the area.

    Blues...off the pitch

Football's definitely skyrocketed price-wise, regardless of who can still/now afford it. When you look at some season ticket prices in the top division it's obscene. Is it Germany where it's still relatively sensible?

    Blues...off the pitch

I'd hope so, but this thread alone has people wary of bringing kids along. They may be overly cautious and are actually in no danger whatsoever, but the threat is obviously still felt by some. That's fair enough, but when normal fans do get affected it becomes mindless thuggery. I'll happily...

    Blues...off the pitch

Ho ho ho. So as someone who's clearly ignorant and uneducated, what am I missing when I condemn running battles on Earlsdon high street in front of families, or the fact that people are wary of bringing their children to a game for fear of being caught up in trouble? Genuine question, this...

    Blues...off the pitch

The solution would still be part of the problem.

    Blues...off the pitch

Circular logic. If the element being slagged off didn't exist, nobody would need rescuing. Well done to them for the loyalty and all that, but when people outside the circle are involuntarily involved it stops being admirable in any way, without exception. If hooligans wish to arrange meets and...

    Blues...off the pitch

So what hidden depths or unknown truths are there that can make it not scummy to terrorise innocent families or involve people who have no part to play and no desire for trouble?

Well I think that's just about it for us

I won't believe we're doomed until it actually happens. This may of course end up a triumph of hope over experience. If someone believes we are, they're not suddenly failing to support the team or will automatically take some kind of 'told you so!' pleasure if it occurs.

Couldn't ask any more of the players or Thorn last night

You must get a hell of a calf workout jumping to these conclusions. So if these people (who don't seem to actually exist) know sod all, what of those absolving Thorn of all blame as if it's somehow impossible for both parties to have their faults? Another case of people here seeing just black...

    Ashamed !!!!!!!!!

You can think we're as good as relegated whilst still supporting the team, just like you can question the manager whilst still supporting him or the team. It's unfortunate how often people here simplify things as purely black and white, as if independent thought is a dirty word.

    Blues...off the pitch

If these people want to get together with other like-minded souls and do whatever their thing is then I don't care, but the second they're causing trouble or harm to people in no way involved with the 'scene' or getting to the point where people will avoid taking their children to a public event...

Andy Gray: 'I considered suicide after Sky Sports sacking'

'I felt so low like I wanted to end it all. As an act of contrition I embarked on a nationwide speaking tour with Keysy entitled SMASH IT' Don't buy it.

    Blues...off the pitch

Of course, I'm not saying it shouldn't be taken seriously, no doubt. It's just depressing. I've helped you out, you can work off the frustration by caving in the head of a foreigner.

    Blues...off the pitch

Is this going to be a load of fat sweaty chavs backing away from each other while daring the other to advance? Lordy.

    Stuart Linnel Tweet.....Excellent Idea?

That would be one of the worst ideas implemented in football.

    Westwood

It's nice that most people aren't being snide and bitter about a player who signed, fulfilled his contract to the best of his ability and then moved on to try and better himself further.

    Is this true?

Has Platt himself said that he can't play that often? I know you've got people like Ledley King who physically can't, but Platt's not exactly a creaking old man and his game isn't exactly about dynamism and pace.
