    Clarification of admin situation

A takeover can happen at any time, but it requires the buyer and seller to reach agreement on price. If we go into administration, any potential buyer will have to deal with the administrator rather than SISU. Some people may believe that this would make a deal more likely. We get a 10...

    Doncaster home fixture re-arranged

Sorry for those it buggers about, but I couldn't go on the Saturday as the wife had booked theatre tickets without consulting the fixture list (got to be grounds for divorce), so for once it works in my favour :)

    ACL start admin proceedings

I haven't researched either case, but did they really take that stance? Did they go into the press proclaiming that their landlords were about to go bust? Did they go to a meeting, verbally agree a deal and then back out? Or did they perhaps negotiate in a sensible way?

    ACL start admin proceedings

Some people did try to point out that this was the probable outcome of SISU's inept "negotiating" tactics - but as I recall you were applauding TF's stance.

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

I believe that it was Einstein who said that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. I don't think I've ever met anyone who thinks current drugs policy is working - although I imagine that most criminals in the drugs trade would...

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

Didn't realise he'd suggested that. Bit of a shock to find a politician who can put forward sensible ideas instead of bowing to the "great" Daily Mail. Much respect to Mr Ainsworth.

SISU say they may "get out of town" next week

Disagree. I'd say that Jan was pro CCFC.

    Administration or Liquidation

Not my area of expertise, but I think that SISU could only choose to liquidate "on their terms", if they settle all third party debts - which would seem unlikely. If there are unpaid creditors then, as I recall, they get a say in the process - but I'd have to read too many dull books to be...

    Administration or Liquidation

In my view, the most likely positive future for the club would come from administration, followed by purchase by a buyer who was in a position to do a simultaneous deal with the council/Higgs/ACL. I say administration because I think it's unlikely that anyone will be able to do a workable deal...

    Administration or Liquidation

Sorry, this isn't the way it works. Sometimes there's a buyer in the wings, but often the key job for the administrator is to find and negotiate with potential purchasers.

    Administration or Liquidation

So just to understand your logic, if B'ham has been for sale for a year and has not been bought, are you saying that no football club will ever be purchased again? Or is it that no football club outside the Premiership will ever be purchased again? Or perhaps no midlands club will ever be...

Sisu -do the decent thing and go!!

As I recall she wasn't on trial, so it would have been pretty tricky to find her guilty. However, I doubt that the judge's comments (as reported) would take pride of place in her cv.

    nathan cameron

Not wishing to have a go at Nathan, but Ben gradually got better and better. Nathan was looking great two years ago, but seems to have taken several steps back. It's true that most players need a run of games to show their best form, but he has played in the last 4 (?) and today was, as they...

    Ratings vs Swindon

Disturbing as it as, I broadly agree with Grendel's ratings. He did however miss out the MOTM - Tommy Hutchison walking onto the pitch at half time was by far the high point of the afternoon!

I'm guessing (hoping) that that comment isn't based on today's game. I'm not one to have a pop at our players, but Nathan had a mare today.

    So why not file them?

    Transfer Embargo from midnight

Bit of a generalisation Lord. Way back then, I was pleased that we'd been "saved" and hoped that we'd see the benefits of proper business planning and professional management. Sadly the reality has been something very different. For me, one of the worst things has been the total...

    Transfer Embargo from midnight

So true - just as all our current problems are not down to the government, but to those damn Whig administrations in the nineteenth century. I can't understand why some people can't grasp this :)

Tommy Hutchison now guest of honour on Saturday

Simply the best. Remember seeing his debut at home to Man City. Ran rings round Tony Book.
