I asked Nick a while back as to just how many people had him on ignore.
In the end he gave me the list of those who haven't, cos that list was much shorter.
Don't say that, Grendel thinks he was rubbish too.
I like Adebola and I do see some similarities.
Let's hope he keeps on improving and becomes the striker we all want him to be.
He said in an interview midweek that he was.playing with the injury for a few weeks before he had to give up with it and rest it.
He couldn't actually put a time on it as to when he would be back.
Errm....so if there's two very, very slow players and one very slow player is just slightly quicker than the other very slow player, he is deemed to have pace?
Okay.
No-one said anything about every ball and every encounter.
It was just a deduction on his general play.
No player is going to win every challenge, or indeed, lose every challenge. Doesn't matter if they are Roy Keane, Van Dijk, or Kante.
I'm willing to give him more time, but Grendel is right about the lack of pace and strength.
His first touch can be poor at times too.
He's shown glimpses of what could possibly be, but for a big bloke he doesn't show much muscle or power in tussles with defenders.
Bit of a mixed bag for me I...
