Match Thread Grimsby Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 12th Aug

One of their players knocked it back, ref agrees that was the free kick taken. Love it.

Can't see how that can be anything but a pen. Ref is useless.

That would mean if you are on holiday you can't sign up for a game despite meeting the requirements.

    Coventry city centre

The Asda in Cheylesmore only has self service. Its a small store and not usually very busy but the queues to checkout are always massive.

    No More Signings Expected

You'd assume Addai will be playing reserve games and Robins seems to prefer Burge over RCC so, assuming he's keeping O'Brien in as first choice, Burge will be on the bench. No point keeping RCC around doing nothing. Problem might be has it been left too late. Will RCC want to drop to non-league...

Where are you? Back the lads!

We haven't got a large contingent let alone a hooligan one! Why on earth would there be trouble, is there some history I'm missing out on? I can't even remember when there was last major trouble at one of our games.

Has anyone got a spare ticket for Grimsby tomorrow?

If there's a decent number in the home end I would think if a steward / policeman was approached they'd do the sensible thing and move you all to the away end. One or two fans they might kick out but they won't want to risk kicking out hundreds.

Where are you? Back the lads!

If that's the case then the number of tickets should have been restricted in the first place. Now they're more likely to have problems as our fans who were planning to pay on the gate will no doubt try and get in the home end.

Very different to recent seasons where we had a large number of loans. Much prefer to have our own players.

    Richard Overson Sponsors Academy

Who is he / where does he make his money. Seems odd to sponsor something and not put your name on it but fair play to him. Letting people nominate charities is a nice touch.

Poll: How long will Trump be President?

Seems that when Trump suddenly decided to tweet in the small hours of the morning that he was banning trans people from the forces this was happening at the exact same time:

The salary that equates to someone receiving benefits to the limit is £14,882.88 for a single person £10,250.32 if you're in a couple. Minimum wage would be a salary of £15,600 for a full time worker. Average wage is hard to be sure of, lots of different figures thrown around. More reliable...

Things might be bad but surely we haven't reached the point of forcing people to live in Leicester.
