    Shareholder's meeting.

I'm just saying you're right. We should learn by past mistakes. They haven't only been made by SISU and Richardson but by Hill too. Selling the Connexion was a mistake as was the whole Washington Diplomats fiasco.

    Shareholder's meeting.

I wonder how much Jimmy Hill got for the Connexion?

Well, if you "point" or "reference" the original material then I would say yes.

While I get your point and agree with you the Trust and KCiC should have kept things professional. I commented at the time how silly they looked.

    Sandra Garlick

She didn't sound too convincing this morning. Kept going on about how "neutral" she was. The Ricoh, it seems, is not in her remit.

As are you if you believe paying £1.3M a year didn't damage the club financially.

Surely makes no difference you are "repeating" the original message.

Shame she wasn't around a few years ago, the smell of "Garlick" may have stopped the vampires at ACL from bleeding us dry.

Not true. Lord McAlpine? http://www.rtaylor.co.uk/libel-chilling-retweeting.html You can get sued for libel for pointing to libellous material elsewhere; or for repeating libellous material posted by others. That’s a problem when it comes to sharing and commenting on news stories.

Whether people like it or not. This is true. Both the Trust (though to a lesser degree) and the KCiC campaign were really unprofessional a lot of the time, so neither should be too surprised if SISU aren't exactly flexible with either organisation.

    Could the replay be televised?

I am surprised. We're usually good for a few goals. The "virtually empty stadium" doesn't make a difference does it? Don't they usually point the cameras at the green bit? And are Crawley known for their large crowds and pressure-cooker atmosphere then?

Wider cost to business & the City of Coventry

The council will probably fall out of "love" with CCFC then and switch their affections to motorists. Kerching, etc.

    Survey of CCFC fans

Never going to happen though, is it? Whoever our future owners are going to be they will want the Ricoh for themselves and the Council aren't going to "give" a piece of real estate like the Ricoh to the fans. Pipe dream.

I hope PH4 doesn't buy us in the future. He's only interested in the arena and the surrounding land. He'll also charge us millions to play in our own ground. I haven't searched. Why would I? You peddle your "hunch" as truth when it's not. No one knows either way.

But you don't know they "would", do you? You're guessing.

You say "would", not "could" or "might" so you are stating it's a fact.

A bit like the "fact" that Astute (always makes me laugh that) and others throw about that if SISU owned the ground then they would bankrupt the club with a massive rent before knocking the Ricoh down anyway.

    POLL: A 'phoenix' Coventry club

You could go to council meetings and cheer them on from the public gallery.
