Fine. It's petrol cost too of course and parking. Last time I went to St. Andrews in a car weh to pay some kids a fiver not to smash the car up while we were at the game.

Not going to argue with you, Nick. I have never driven to Liberty Way and have never driven to St. Andrews. I have certainly been near Birmingham's ground before though. Not worth arguing the toss over. If we groundshare I am 99.9% certain I won't be going, so having a nitpicky argument over...

    Game of thrones (Again)

Yep. I saw the descent over so much more than just one scene. It has been coming for weeks now.

Yes. That's the Birmingham Road isn't it? Or maybe I mean the Coventry Road. Just the one road all the way. Always hit multiple traffic lights and queues Birmingham end.

Must have been at least 15-20 times and it has never taken me less than 40 minutes. Always hit heavy traffic on the Birmingham Road, Brum end. That's been Saturdays.

Always takes me more than 30 mins. Always hit traffic going into Birmingham. More like 45 mins. I have got to Nuneaton in 8 mins, but have never, ever been to Liberty Way, so don't know how much further that is.
  7. Otis

    Back your football club

Wow! I have never, ever been able to do that. Nowhere close.

Exactly. For the Ricoh I have no cost other than my ST. The time is a factor too. I reckon two hours extra Brum. 10 mins bus X 2, 7 min walk to station X 2, train 22 mins X 2, walk to ground and back. Not sure exactly, but isn't it about 15 walk each way?

Drive to Birmingham in 20 mins?
  10. Otis

    Back your football club

Yes, still costs. I walk to the Ricoh, so no cost there at all. Just my ST.

Driving to Brum maybe, but the train is just a bit more of problem for many. I know someone said it is just a question of hopping on the train, but you have to get to the station. You have to park your car somewhere or get a bus to get to the station. If I could just walk to the train...

Yes, away followings will most certainly boost attendances for certain games.

    Game of thrones (Again)

Yes, the Dany killing spree made sense to me. She has become overrun with rage and has been clearly losing the plot. I have no problems with it.

    Game of thrones (Again)

I can understand that people dislike it, but I would hardly say it doesn't make sense. I have enjoyed the season and know how difficult it must be to reach a conclusion and tie up so many loose ends in just 6 episodes. I had no problem with Cersei's death (if she is actually dead) and...

Not a lot and a most likely, a lost generation of fans.

Yeah, it does need some sort of plan.

Yeah, but I can't afford it. Simple really.

Fair play, but it's my one vice. I don't drink or smoke, or go on holiday and hardly ever go out, so to use the one bit of spare money I have to get finance for something I am not going to use, would be a bit dumb of me.
  19. Otis

    Back your football club

Yes. On finance. Would be a bit daft to take finance out on a ticket I would never use.

Worse still for me, cos not only will I be wearing Primark gear, but it will all still have all the labels attached, because I will be taking it back on Monday for a full refund.
