Any news on the Academy ?

They're advertising a job at the academy on the club site. Basically driving people around, sorting kit out etc. Doesn't say where you'd be based but its at least an indication there will be an academy. As Wasps seem to be getting nowhere fast with their plans I suspect another season at Higgs...

Overseas fans can watch all games live next season

Website is a lot better, much cleaner design. Just need the club to get it up to date and then keep it up to date.

    Recruitment

its certainly different to what we're used to. These days a lot of it is done online, there's a couple of systems you can subscribe to and the players / agents post up all their details, videos etc so you could get something up and running very quickly. Add in someone who knows L1 / L2 / non...

    32000 crowd

In American sports, which are franchised based, they look at a minimum of 25 years as the embedding period as it takes that long to bring through the first generation of fans who have grown up with the club. Look how much rugby has changed in the last 25 years. Things could very easily be very...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

That's the worry. They have no fan representation on the board now. There's a legacy board but that has very little, if any power. They have to approve moving from Fratton or changing from playing in blue. They also wanted a veto over changing the club crest but the new owner wouldn't have that.

    4th signing - Monday - Liam Kelly

Obviously you shouldn't be pushing over ball boys but having more physical presence will do us good. Hopefully will give the likes of Stevenson and Thomas the space to play without being constantly kicked and fouled.

    Portsmouth- what on earth

The Pompey chap said that at the trust meeting. Said exactly the same as Fisher has been saying that in L2 / L1 running at break even can work for a club of the size of Pompey or us but move up to the Championship and you're struggling to compete.

    General Election

Independent ranks 8th in online news sources in the UK. Problem is number 1 is the BBC with a 35% of all page views from the entire top 100 combined. The drop off after the top 5 is huge: https://www.similarweb.com/blog/uk-media-publications-ranking-february-2017

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

I get that and I've said be for that's fair enough - its not exactly a fun Saturday afternoon out. But we've had Hoffman, the Jimmy Hill Way chap and now this guy all talking about not buying season tickets. Whilst no one has come out and formally announced a boycott its not hard to connect the...

Dodgy though. Somebody must have let slip that it was going to happen. Would never cross my mind to bet on something like that.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

I know our staff levels have been cut to the absolute minimum but theres no excuse for not responding to mails like that. Should be a priority. Most of it would be cut and paste anyway most likely.

Given what happened to that keeper eating the pie when it was impossible for him to be part of the game as they'd already used all their subs what will happen here?

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Are people being deliberately thick? You've got one of the investors in the Telegraph saying if we don't sell many season tickets it might force SISU to sell up. How can you not interpret that as encouraging a boycott?
