I hate these kind of stories and it builds my expectation. I much prefer reading that a deal is done and dusted and we've not known a thing about it. All of a sudden I feel Dylan McGeouch is the most important player in the world and we desperately need to sign him. I gotta lie down.

Actually, I think the Ricoh and the new stadium are a red herring. I've seen secret documents suggesting that Sixfields was the stadium of choice all along. The plan started quite a while ago when we started dumping our crap players on them: Marcus Hall, Roy O'Donoivan, Clive Platt...
