    New Dr Who

The original creator, Sydney Newman, tried to get the show runner at the time to cast a woman as the doctor in the 80s. Its already established in the show that regeneration to a different gender is possible so its not really a problem from that standpoint.

    New Dr Who

More concerned about Chibnall taking over. Not a fan of much of his work on Who / Torchwood. As far as the casting goes can't help feeling its been done more to tick a box and / or as a gimmick than being driven by where they want to take the story.

Would be very interesting to know why SISU think that shouldn't apply. Section 128 basically protects the buyer in the event the public body who were the sellers are later found to have not followed the correct procedure.

All matchday tickets on sale from Monday!

Looking at last seasons price of football survey our cheapest ticket at £22 (is there anyway to buy in advance without getting a ticketmaster fee added?) would be the most expensive in the division. Only Blackpool and Colchester top us with their top price ticket. I get football expensive and...

What Act Would You Like At Godiva ?

Sleeper are touring soon, first time in years. Would like to see them play. How about a bit of country? The Shires or Ward Thomas (or both!), pretty popular and selling out decent sized venues.

Was in meetings all day so couldn't follow too closely. Was it said why Section 128 wouldn't afford Wasps protection against an additional payment?

    Court Match Thread

I understand that. But how has that decision been arrived at given what has been said in court today? We know what the rules state such as requiring independent specialist marketing among other things. This has been debated numerous times before and it was generally concluded that SISU would...

    Court Match Thread

Just catching up on the days action. Apologies if I'm being thick but am I missing something here? We know that selling a freehold has rules attached that need to be followed. The argument for many months has been that its not a freehold sale so those rules don't apply. Isn't the council's QC...

    General Election

What a stoke of luck. Just when Jeremy Hunt was having problems meeting any ambulance response targets he finds out that heart attacks and strokes aren't really emergencies. So now instead of a target of getting a paramedic to you in 8 minutes it's been changes to 40 minutes.

Golf - This is driving me nuts!

That makes sense. Do they not have any way of indicating that when they're showing you the score through?

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

If the rules that apply to non-EU applicants come into force for EU applicants then yes that is what will happen. It is already happening with non EU applicants. In the first 8 months since the Home Office implemented the change 2,341 tier 2 applications by NHS Trusts were rejected. As the...

The parents have had an argument with the judge and walked out of court. Can't shake the feeling that there's more to this than their concern for the child.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Didn't make the figure up its the threshold that the home office and May are bringing in for Tier 2 Visas. At present it will only impact non-EU immigrants but once we leave the EU unless we have special arrangements in place then that will be the rule for everyone from outside the UK.

    Ricoh Car Parking

I've never used the official car parks but there always seems to be people moaning on social media and CWR about it taking hours to get out. Yet everyone on here is saying they get out with no problem. Is there one particular car park that has trouble or are people just making shit up to have a...

    Netflix or Amazon Prime?

I've got both but only have Amazon as I got it on an offer and use the next day delivery a lot. For me Netflix is far better. Preacher and American Gods are pretty much the only things I've watched on Amazon.
