There's clearly been a problem with scoring goals. I think Chaplin may be one for next season and MR pretty much said Bakayoko needed some work doing to improve his play. Hiwula has struggled and Ponticelli has been injured, so yes, I would have been looking at the possibility of another striker.

They've got to fly in at some point. We have so many shots blocked and we can't keep missing. Wakefield may well be in and he's got great pace. With him on the left (he can play there) and Thomas on the right we can do a bit of damage. Bayliss should be back and Kelly is due to be fit again...

No, not disagreeing. Just always seems capable of getting one. Feel a lot more comfortable with Bayliss in front of goal than with Thomas.

Yeah, I do agree with that, but at the same time I feel Doyle did look a yard slower and was struggling to keep up and was getting bypassed a bit. I think he SHOULD have been on the bench, but where it went wrong is, I believe there were times when he could have been brought on and wasn't.
