    Donnelly Signs

Funny that SP says the two new strikers will create "real competition" up front. There is no competition. Well, until CW is back anyway.

    sisu strikes again

And what was Mutton doing? If he hadn't have said the "hell will freeze over" comment and done a deal with SISU then the word "Sixfields" wouldn't have ever been mentioned on here. Mutton refused to sell to the current and rightful owners of the club and wanted to sell to someone else. Isn't...

    sisu strikes again

A long lease with a guarantee of no interference would be perfect. Mutton had no right to say "you can have it but you can't". Well, he does have the right, but he shouldn't have. The club can't progress if it continues to be tied to the Council. As for the surrounding land. The Council...

But I thought he'd gone to Celtic? ;)

Rory Donnelly to sign on loan from Swansea

I hadn't heard of him any of them either. I don't tend to pay much attention to anything other than Coventry City.

Well, my view is that Mutton shouldn't have done that. I believe the Club (regardless of who owns them) need to own the stadium and not have the Council sticking their noses in constantly.

    sisu strikes again

Mutton said hell would freeze over before he would give anything of the Ricoh to our current owners (whether we like them or not). However, he was happy to deal with someone (PH4) who hadn't even bought the club and offer something to them. Not cricket really.

Well, that's the £14M question, isn't it? Has the loan helped improve services for Coventry citizens? There are loads of rules about how certain "pots" of money can be spent and what they can be spent on. I would imagine this would be a major part of the Council's defence in the JR; "Look how...

    Good Enough For The Play-Offs?

Never say never. We can only give it a go and you can't ask for more than that.

There will be no perm signings

If we turned down two previous offers then I presume we did.

There will be no perm signings

Well hopefully they'll be crap so we can get them on the cheap.

    Boycott Subway

I did notice one time at Sixfields that Fisher was wearing clothes. I think we should all boycott wearing clothes until SISU leave. I imagine he also eats and drinks stuff, so we should stop that too.

    Ah yes, the Ricoh Arena.

    sisu strikes again

Fair enough. So, next question. How has the loan helped improve "their services"?

There will be no perm signings

Good shout really. Better to have quality than quantity.

    sisu strikes again

This is a great point. People moaning we hadn't signed Dagnell. I said the other day that I was never that impressed with him. He didn't seem to fit in with the Pressley "pressing" game philosophy he bangs on about. I'd rather we had the guy from Villa on loan that sign players - Like...

    sisu strikes again

Yes. Same crap. I thought the money came from Council reserves and not another loan. Could be wrong. If that's the case then it was tax payers money.

Rory Donnelly to sign on loan from Swansea

Maybe he can't get what he wants on a permanent deal. Three loans doesn't mean that the Club are conspiring against him.
