Get up late after being up to the early hours watching ice hockey. Panic when I realise its later than I thought. Drive up to the Ricoh and get to my seat just about as the teams are coming out. Watch us lose. Go home miserable. Be in a bad mood for the rest of the weekend.

Continuing the TV theme having to rewind 10 times or put the subtitles on to know what someone is mumbling about. With all the fuss about having the picture in HD / Ultra HD / 3D how about having the sound so you can hear what the hell is going on.

I've moved seats (hopefully far enough to not hear the guy who shouts forward for 90 minutes) so should be getting a new one but no sign yet. Sure it will turn up. If not think they're opening at 11am on Saturday and you can get a replacement paper ticket.

Passing it when you're in and around the penalty box does my head in. Just have a shot and see what happens or hammer in a cross. Defenders make mistakes, keepers make mistakes. Have your forwards running in to follow up and you'll get goals. Applies even more at our level.

We had returned to the Ricoh at the point the council agreed to sell to Wasps and extend the lease.

Turns out its not a reason a significant number of students voted Labour. That or the fact Corbyn never actually said he'd wipe the debt hasn't stopped the story rumbling on all week. A week on and the non story about student debt is still alive but there's been little to no coverage of those...

The lease extension was agreed at the same meeting as the sale to Wasps. They could have extended the lease at that point under CCC / Higgs ownership knowing there was an anchor tenant coming in.
